Scheduling was the only problem, because we had to wait until one of his longer projects finished ahead of time, so that he could squeeze us in at the end of the work week. It took a while for that to happen, but the job wasn't urgent, so it was fine to wait. Now the garage roof is better than ever--no leaks."

"Have hired the Home a Team for about 4 years running to do gutter or roof cleaning. Have always had good experiences & our most recent experience maintained that trend. In December, we took advantage of one of their Fall Specials to have them remove leaves from our (steep, composite) roof, clean the gutters and (woot!) clean the 1st & 2nd fl. windows, solar tubes & skylights. Also apply a zinc phosphate moss treatment. Because it was December, owner Bob let me know that the work was dependent on above-freezing temperatures and, indeed, the week of our job, temps dropped so we rescheduled but that was all communicated clearly & easily. I was fine with that (the only person who needs to be scampering around my roof in the snow is Santa) and we just postponed things a week. (Home Team sends a PDF with comprehensive info on what to move, what to cover, etc. to prepare for roof and/or gutter cleaning, well in advance of the job). On the appointed day, Juan showed up right on time. He was friendly, conscientious and worked very hard all day. The roof looks great (thoroughly cleaned) the gutters flow freely and the windows & skylights are sparkling. While Juan was working on the back of the house, he noticed there a slippery film on our composite deck so offered to clean that off as well. It was a much appreciated bonus. The work was finished by early afternoon and Juan and I walked the yard to be sure I was satisfied. I was. Clean up was thorough. It was a good experience and I am happy to recommend the Home Team to others."

"Scott was helpful in selecting colors for the outside of our house.  A few days after pressure washing our house he purchased small samples of several paint colors we were considering for the outside of our home.  He painted reasonable sized "patches" of each color on the front outside wall of our house so we could see them side-by-side after they had dried and see what each color would actually look like "on the house."  That made it easy to pick the final exterior color for our house and our trim color selection.  Scott was extremely careful of all of our shrubbery and covered every shrub, plant and all of our walkways and patio with tarps while he painted.  He also found some wood rot on the top our hour chimney caused over time by rain.  He installed metal flashing around the top of our chimney to stop water dripping behind the siding on our chimney "box" that surrounds the actual chimney itself.  After installing the flashing he finished painting the chimney.  
He did such a good job that I had him paint my mother's house last year.  Two neighbors directly across the street from my house also hired Scott last summer to paint the outside of their houses after seeing the job he had done on my house and seeing how it looked after one winter of weathering in Seattle.  Our home looks like it was just painted after 2 years.  
I can strongly recommend Emerald Coats Painting Company.  Scott and his employees were very professional in all phases of the painting work they did on our house.  He honored his price quote, even though he found some minor repair work and additional chalking that needed to be done to our gutters before he could complete the painting job."
