After the technician came and poked and prodded my cooktop for 2 hrs, he called Miele 2 times to get a verbal diagnosis resulting in my invoice for $1475.13 I wasn't feeling good about this so I went to the Miele showroom in Bellevue where I was told Mr. Appliance is NOT an authorized repair company for Miele. When I called Mr. Appliance this morning asking if any of their technicians were certified on Miele the answer was no. After much discussion with the rude office manager explaining that when a customer calls for a repair and specifies the brand they are requesting help with, it should be disclosed at that point if they are authorized and certified to work on that particular brand. The part was never opened nor installed and the owner is insisting this is a restocking fee. I've even shared Miele's Operating & Installation manual with her, showing her where it clearly states "certified and authorized technicians" should be the only ones working on Miele appliances. Guess that's the way you keep the doors open....dishonesty! It'll catch up with you...it always does!"
