"Terrible. The contract said they would replace all rotted wood in the deck and in the fence. They did a few beams of the fence (that I already had) and a maybe 20 cedar slats. There were probably 50 or more that should have been replaced. The deck they just replaced a few of the planks and facade, but you could see more rot in the support beams and more of the planks. They refused to consider further work. They painted over blistering paint on the deck. We had to hire another guy to do the further repairs, and repaint. The landscaping they just put beauty bark down on top of existing weeds, so within a week the weeds were already popping up. They put gravel next to the driveway for an additional parking spot, but they didn't dig down or anything, so it was raised up in a messy looking manner. They also were to put in a path from the back porch to an area further back with a concrete pad. They just threw down gravel over the grass, again not digging down or laying any weed barrier or anything. We had to hire another person to at least put some plastic edging between the gravel and the rocks. Terrible landscaping and fence and deck repair. Very rude to us and our realtor. Owner acted like an eight year old bully with name calling. He did a wonderful job in a previous hire for drywall, which is why we hired him for the rest. He also did a good job with the power washing of the driveway, back patio, house, and tree house. Do not hire him for landscaping, or for fence or deck repair."

"Cervantes Maintenance came highly recommended by my real estate agent to give my neglected yard a makeover. The first items were functional, trim and shape a giant rose bush and laurel (hedge row) inside the yard along with overgrown vines and lavender sprawl along an extensive retaining wall. Next came the magic. The north and east (front) sides of the house get little sun. Grass was patchy, soil uneven and steep, and moss was destroyed by crows eating the grub infestation. Cervantes treated the soil for grubs and came up with a dramatic landscape design replacing the grass with a flat stone walk way and level patio, gravel and mulch, with a drainage system. They also pressure washed the walkways and front steps, making my entire yard welcoming and brand new. The whole project took two days. Crews worked tirelessly in the rain. Friendly service, on the spot problem solving. Competitive price. Sarah has an instinctive design eye and came up with the solutions and design for me."
