Customers say: Quality work

"Amazing job! I had a back injury that meant I couldn't work on my yard all summer, so by September it was out of control - wisteria and ivy everywhere, two trees going over the roofline and blocking walkways, all shrubs and hedges in need of trimming. They came in and cleaned up everything - hedge trimming, removal of dead shrubs, cut back or removal of the the invasive vibes, and tree trimming. Fantastic job! My yard looks so much better now!!!"

"They did a good job! They fully pulled out the vines and vine roots and no growth has come back. They were reasonably priced, arrived when they said they were going to and were easy to work with. We would hire them again."

"Unique Landscaping did an amazing job!! They were referred to us by our neighbors. I texted them and they promptly responded and came by and gave an estimate that was very reasonable. They came when scheduled and did an excellent job. I would not hesitate to refer them to anyone needing any type of yard work. Thank you, my yard looks so nice!!!"

"We worked with Jose Migel. He and his crew were very professional and provided the exact service discussed which was yard clean up with some landscaping, deck and porch replace, fence repair and roof cleaning, and met the time frame established. Only weather caused a 1 day delay. All work was completed to our satisfaction. We are very happy. I recommend this business."

"We originally hired Dalia and her team to do a major clean-up of our heavily wooded yard after the winter's storms. They did a fantastic job on that, completely clearing all the fallen wood, thatching and reseeding the lawn, pruning all the bushes, pressure-washing the driveway, and just generally making our yard beautiful. Their work was excellent, and we are now having them keep up the yard maintenance every week. They also did a great job on clearing the fir needles, branches, and other debris off our roof. We are extremely happy with the work they do, and recommend them for anyone needing yard care of any kind."

Lawns questions, answered by experts

The frequency of gardening service visits depends on two significant factors—the service and your budget. If you’re a gardening DIYer and only need someone to check on your plant's health quality, you might not need many visits throughout the year. However, if you love the idea of a garden but don't have the time or patience to plant, water, and maintain your garden, you might need weekly visits (or more, depending on the weather).

Dead trees are dangerous for several reasons. They are structurally compromised and prone to branch or trunk failure, which can pose a significant safety risk to people, vehicles, and nearby structures. Dead trees can also harbor pests like termites, which may spread to other trees or your home. If a tree died from a disease, it could spread the illness to healthy trees. Additionally, the dry wood is highly flammable, increasing fire risk.

Estate cleanout services aren’t typically priced per square foot, although you can often expect costs to increase along with the square footage of a property. The real factor at play is the number of items that need to be handled. More items, especially bulky items, mean higher costs, and larger homes tend to hold more items.

Yes, you can absolutely make your own mulch, and there are a few ways to go about it. First, you can lay down pine needles or mulched leaves if you’re mulching in the fall. In the spring and summer, you can use mulched grass clippings. Alternatively, you can lay down a few layers of newspaper in your garden and gently wet the paper to keep it in place.

No, you cannot throw branches from your neighbor’s tree back into their yard, nor can you discard leaves or other plant matter that originated from their yard back over there if it happens to land in your yard. You are responsible for cleaning up plant matter that made its way into your yard.
