"I could not be happier with my new patio and driveway. The owner, Rich, and his crew are highly skilled craftsman. They pay close attention to details which results in a highly desirable end product. For example, the step to my patio was all wrong- too narrow, uncentered, uneven spacing, and incorrect slope. I never really thought about it, but now that I have a new step correctly done, I see a big improvement in aesthetics and safety. Another example, is that my old driveway had standing water on it. Rich took care of the drainage problem with a simple drywell. The crew takes care to put in straight cleans lines to break up the slab. They also make sure to smooth out and rake the surface so that it looks really good. At the end, they clean up really well and rake smooth the surrounding landscape."

We had pumper truck supply to backyard.

Estimated quantity needed was very good. I had separate smaller area, about 6' x 8' that I included in project, to be used as a foundation for a putting green. Beyond that there was one full wheel-barrow of unused cement after cleaning out pipes run from pumper truck. fortunately I had a place from a different project where we poured that remainder.

I would hire this contractor again, but whether it be this one or another I will hope to remember to ask about the disposition of any remainder, especially if I don't have a place to dispose or use. On the bright side, having a little extra is a whole lot better than being a little short. Might not have yielded such a smooth putt.

"We hired Roads Paving to replace our aging, 1200 square foot asphalt driveway. Their bid was lower than a competitor. The driveway is tightly compacted, smooth, and looks great. The work only took around 4 hours from start to finish, including removing the existing asphalt and sub-base. "Believe me, this is your last stop for any masonry and concrete needs as these guys are absolutely the best! My initial quote and introduction to the company was provided by Joe Rothwell ( Owner ). Joe took the time to discuss the condition of my driveway, which believe me was in dire need of replacement, providing me with an estimate that I felt was extremely reasonable. What impressed me most was his attention to detail and options such as a sand finish and converting my existing 1ft x 1ft drain to a channel drain, running almost the length of my garage. On the day of installation, I was greeted by Joe and several members of his team. He anticipated only one day to demolish, however, based on the size of my driveway ( approx 2300 sq ft ) I thought that there was no way this was possible. Low and behold by 2:00 pm the entire drive was completely bare of old concrete! Day two went just as smooth, with grading, adding a gravel base, channel drain, and rebar. Because of a mini heat-wave, it was decided best to delay the concrete pour until the following week when the weather had cooled. Once again, they arrived right on time with the first pour. It was truly amazing to watch these guys focus their attention to detail. Finally, the last day was the wash and clean-up. Joe and his crew did a wonderful job and my driveway looks spectacular!
