"I have a 1906 cottage in N Seattle, with an old porous foundation. Water came into the basement for the first time in 20 years. Another contractor bid the job at $12,000 after 3 site visits and almost a month. Andy came out to the house the same day I talked to him, and estimated the same job at half that price. He followed up with questions, asked about making another visit, came out again and saw that the drainpipe was disconnected at the top of the area being flooded. 75% of the roof's water was pooling against the house. "John and Tim from John John Concrete Construction are phenomenal. Ours was a tricky project; avoid a newly seeded septic system drainfield adjacent to the work area, demo and remove large, uneven aggregate slabs, remove part of an exterior stairway, shore up an upper deck that had 4x4 posts sitting on top of the old slabs, pour new footings for correctly installed 4x4 posts, excavate the entire area and prepare for the concrete pour. They went above and beyond their original scope. Their workmanship is flawless. They saved all the flower bulbs that were necessarily disturbed and moved a large planter to a safer spot. Their concern and consideration is exceptional. The site is down a slope and around a sharp corner with limited access. They brought equipment to remove and dispose of the old materials and to bring the concrete from the driveway down that slope and around that corner. Their skills are impressive. It's a stamped patio with a two-tone gray color. The end product is stunning. They knew exactly what needed to be done to achieve those results. And another important point, they are both really nice people; easy to work with and enjoyable getting to know. John John will be our go-to person for any future concrete work."
