"Overall, we are pleased with the results - our house has really been transformed. The mill work is beautiful, and we had drawers and shelves built in to our master bedroom area that we are very pleased with. I recommend hiring a designer and having that worked out ahead of time. There were several quality issues (getting things level, window trim and tiling work in bathrooms); however my understanding is that this is not typical and due to some new crew members and the project manager being over capacity. The owners have been great to work with - responsive and very patient with our cumbersome loan process (even when it meant delay in payment to them by several weeks). They have been working with us to make sure quality issues get addressed and have been instilled confidence in us about the degree to which they stand behind their work."

"Vanderlip Construction brought our ideas and vision to a reality on a master and guest bathroom remodel in our 1961 rambler. Eric is both an organized contractor and an experienced craftsman. He is a thoughtful and very responsive communicator who we could always count on to perform the tasks he scheduled throughout our project. He brought in very skilled team of subcontractors who he made sure didn’t disrupt our home life and office work activities. Eric was generous with sharing his expertise and insights that helped us make decisions on key details. We had about an 80 percent design and selected all the tile, fixtures, and custom cabinets but Eric’s attention to detail brought it all together, especially on our counters and master bath shower. "J J Construction owner Khoa Ha completely replaced my upper and lower decks with composite. He solved many problems we were facing with the decks and designed a system to deflect rain water away from the house. The upper deck was 48'x12' and the lower deck 14'x21', also replaced existing stairs, added bench seating. and lights. In addition he also repaired/reflashed metal roof on the lower back of the house and address foundation concerns. His team were great to work with, hard working, professional and courteous.
