In the past two years they have installed a new gas furnace boiler, two gas fireplace inserts and now a new gas hot water heater. In each instance, Jeff and his crew have been very prompt about attending to our requests and providing us with an estimate. On the day that the work was to be done the work crew has always arrived on time and finished the job as scheduled. They have been very professional to deal with. We are very appreciative that they were able to work us into their schedule so quickly this last time as going without hot water is a bit of an inconvenience. Green City Heating is our first choice when it comes to our home's heating and water systems."

"Of the eight companies who bid, Greenwood did the best assessment of the somewhat quirky situation my old house presented. The estimator came just a few days before the big freeze in January, and they were able to schedule installation within two days. Once the installers were on site, there was some confusion re where various components would go, but a phone call to the company cleared that up within an hour. From then on the heat pump installation went smoothly and professionally, the electricians did a quick and effective job of hooking it up to the service, and the site was left clean. I did not understand at first how to operate the thermostat, given that the Mitsubishi owners manual was of limited help, and per my request a rep from the company came out a few days later to give me a tutorial about what the range of settings can do. From then on the system has operated flawlessly and lives up to its reputation."

"I'd been wanting to get of our old electric baseboard heaters for a long time, and replace it with something more efficient, and Mark helped my understand the differences between a ductless mini-split system and a ducted heatpump system. Even in our small house, the ducted system was the way to go. Mark and his installers were professional and efficient, and answered all my questions. When the thermostat was acting a little odd, he sent a technician over to calibrate it, free of charge. There was a small issue where I initially got the wrong specs for the electrical, and as a result I had the electrician install unnecessary circuits, but Marc reimbursed me for the cost."

"Noel replaced two water heaters and installed hot water line so I can wash car with warm water. :) Overall, I am very happy with the quality of his work. He is very patient and took time to do quality work. Before he start on the project he laid down paper on carpet to protect it and he cleaned up everything after he's done. His pricing isn't the cheapest...but I would say average. In line with what other plumbers charge to the same work. The furnace was fine but found a potential problem with the air conditioner and went out of his way to get the part and fix it right away. We are repeat customers and have worked with Overlake Heating & Air Conditioning for regular annual furnace inspections and a duct cleaning. We have been pleased every time and this time was no different.

I met with Rob on Monday (3/9). He was responsive and gave helpful information about the options available for air conditioner units and the process for getting one installed. He got us an installation appointment for the very next day.

The installers arrived at the promised time the next day and worked diligently for about 6.5 hours, into the early evening. They were positive, friendly, and patient about answering our questions. Their workmanship was high quality and they explained what would happen on day two of the installation. Before leaving they thoroughly cleaned the garage where they were working.

The second day of installation was today (3/13). An electrician (Linder Electric) and an Overlake service technician came out to finish the installation. We weren't here when they performed the work, but again the end results all looked clean, nice, and organized.

The Overlake scheduler and office staff are excellent about communicating updates. We appreciate the responsiveness, reliability, expertise, and professionalism of all of the Overlake staff and definitely recommend them.

"It turned out Cozy Heat is not a distributor of our furnace brand, however they did find out for us that it is still covered under warranty for parts, but not labor. We were quoted what the cost of labor would be for them to install. He attempted to contact the furnace brand people for more information and was transferred to a number that said they were not open at that time (imagine that - after 9:00 a.m. on a Monday morning). He asked his secretary to check into that and call us back. She did very promptly. We were told we might want to get a 2nd opinion to decide on an 11 year old furnace whether we want to have a new furnace installed or have just the heat exchanger replaced. At this time we are planning to meet with a different company for a 2nd opinion. But even while we are waiting to do that, we are leaning towards having Cozy Heat replace the whole furnace.
The indecision is that reading online customer reviews about the different furnace brands, I don't see a furnace that stands out with customers and quot;very satisfiedand quot; more than and quot;very unsatisfiedand quot;. Seems like the reviewed furnace brands people are consistently 45% very satisfied and 55% very unsatisfiedand quot;.
Not sure how this story will play out.
