"We got a quote to get our chimneys swept before the winter set in. When service was preformed, it was actually the owner who came out. Nathan was on-time, called an hour before arrival, and made sure to only recommend what we needed (even after I pushed a little to just clean them all since he was already out). He even sealed up the top of one of our chimney's which had a damper that would not close and was letting our heated air out for free! Great guy, down to earth, honest and friendly. What more could you ask for? I highly recommend A Clean Chimney for your next service!"

"It went very well.  Our service tech was Darrell and he was polite, knowledgable and patient.  We showed up a few minutes late for our appointment as I hit traffic, and he called to let us know he had arrived and let us know he would get started with inspecting the outside until we arrived.  I originally called on this company due to the good reviews on Angie's list, and to take advantage of the $99 special.  When I was on the phone with the booking person she made sure I knew that the $99 was for a lined chimney and if it turned out that our new place had no liner it would be an additional $50.  It was good to have this info up front so we didn't feel like it was sprung on us after they arrived.  With tax it came to $164 plus change. The whole process was a good experience.  After the cleaning Darrell was very careful to make sure the insert was straight and that every speck of dust was cleaned up.  He wore shoe covers in the house and was polite, respectful of our furnishings and friendly to the kids when they came through.  We will definitely call them again when we need more work done."

"We discovered a leak in our chimney a few days ago. I reached out to them and they responded right away. They installed a new chimney cap and cleaned our chimney. Thank you for the amazing communication of telling us when they were arriving. Appreciate it and highly recommend!"

"We purchased a fireplace insert and before installation we wanted to change the facing of the fireplace.  Jake came to our home to give us a bid.  When he walked in he knew the name of the stone we had on our fireplace and gave us suggestions on material that would be architecturally appropriate for our home.  The other job was replace concrete caps, tuck point areas as needed, clean and treat with moss remover, and seal chimneys with masonry sealer from roof level up.  He also inspected the counter flashing but it did not need repair.  He even cleaned up the stone planter at no extra charge.  Who knew it could look so good!  We would recommend Stern's Masonry, Jake and his crew were all fabulous.  They made sure our home and outside were clean and everything picked up everyday.   Jake was very knowledgeable and meticulous in completing both jobs.  He was extremely helpful and reliable.  The finished job to our new stone fireplace is absolutely beautiful and we get so many compliments about both jobs.  We will definitely have Jake come out again and repair the cracked brick on our home and two more stone planters."

"We were pleased with the quality of the work performed, especially how the metal caps turned out (they had to be ordered and cut to size on site). The owner, Mr. Duga even replaced skylight seals at no charge."

"Early estimate on the schedule before work and received a bid on the spot. Was told to look it over and let them know if we wanted to proceed. No pressure at all. Reviewed and signed the next day. Oasis started roughly a week later. They replaced old roof with a higher end shingle. New underlayment and plywood were also laid down. Downspouts and flashing around chimney replaced too. No more leaks on roof or around chimney."

Chimney Caps questions, answered by experts

Yes, professionals can often retrofit models with minimal disruption.

No, range hoods do not necessarily have to be vented outside. Ductless or non-vented range hoods are available, which are common in condos or small kitchens where connecting to external ductwork isn't feasible. These hoods operate by taking in air, filtering it through charcoal filters to help eliminate smoke and odors, and then recirculating the cleaned air back into the kitchen. However, while these recirculating hoods are more versatile, venting to the outside is still the preferred and more effective method for completely removing smoke, odors, and gases from the room.

Yes, with features like LED lighting and variable speed controls for efficiency.

A range hood is an exhaust fan for your kitchen, and several types and styles exist. They are meant to remove grease, moisture, and fumes from your stove. Although some models filter and recirculate the air, the most effective ones remove the air through a duct that’s vented to the outdoors.

Typically 1-2 hours, factoring in ductwork and electrical connections.
