Foremen and equipment operators adapted to the job, communicated, and gave us an even better product than we anticipated. We had a big job with difficult access and it was knocked out in one day; cleanup was excellent and price competitive."

"Tad responded to my phone call the same day.  He came to our home the next day and we walked the property to determine how much mulch we would need.  Tad is a personable fellow.  He was able to schedule me within a couple of days.  His crew of three arrived on time and proceeded to get the job done.  They worked hard and diligently.  It was 14 yards of mulch and they were done in 6  hours, just as Tad had estimated.  The front yard looks beautiful now and it had been a real mess, neglected for at least two years.  They stayed within the borders of the beds.  There were even a couple of flowers that were starting to come up.  I expected that they would have been covered over, but the Crew Chief, Jose, made sure that they were not covered and I didn't even ask them not to bury them.  We needed a thick layer of mulch, at least two inches, and they did a fantastic job.  They even folded up the tarps we had.  The blew off and rinsed the drive and it is a large drive.  They left this place looking immaculate.
I have already asked Tad to schedule us in to do the same in the back yard."

"I had Joe’s Yard Service redo basically my entire backyard and it turned out awesome. They took out an old concrete patio that was falling apart, removed the grass, leveled everything out, and put in a big paver patio. They also handled outdoor lighting, sprinklers, new grass, and added river rock along the side. Joe was super easy to work with the whole time. He always got back to me quickly and didn’t mind stopping by to explain things or walk through ideas. That made a big difference since this was a pretty big project. For a project of this size (around $32k), I felt like the pricing was fair. They got everything done pretty quickly, but more importantly it was done right. The quality shows. I also appreciated that Joe would point out ways to save money and put it toward other parts of the project instead of just upselling everything. "The workmanship is outstanding. They worked with us to create a beautiful patio. They came up with a way to remove a step between the two old patios, so we have one level patio. In addition they curved the sides giving the patio a flow instead of a blunt shape. They even ran our downspout under the patio to a drain hole, making the corner much nicer. They ran the border around the crawl space access and vent openings. The two steps they built add to the beauty of their effort.. The crew was very responsive, plus they gave us ideas (all were accepted) based on their experience. They also cleaned up every night so that we could use our driveway. We will use them again and will highly recommend them to all who need such work. We are so proud of their effort that we told them they could post pictures to their website."

I was very specific about what I wanted for a final result (dog hardy grass blend, easy to use irrigation system, remove old damaged soil and grass and replace / amend with healthy soil) and am very engaged in any contractor-run project. Norberto was able to provide reasonable options, discuss pros/cons, and what the maintenance requirements would be long term. Once started, the project moved along - he was an excellent project manager. I would check progress and he was very responsive to any of my questions or concerns. Any course corrections were made immediately. He is also providing follow-up to ensure the lawn comes in as planned and the irrigation system is functioning as designed. They were very carefully to keep the work area clean and ensured the gates remained closed so my dogs were not able to escape or get into the new lawn area.
