I am very happy with the work they did to my backyard like extending the existing patio. putting a retention wall and filling up with top soil., and putting drainage pipe to drain water. They pressure washed my drive way also. My family members loved the work they did. I recommend this company strongly.

We would give 10 stars if we could. Our very large driveway and walkways were a mess. Allied 1 was so professional, and hardworking. They cleaned up everything so well. Hu was great and knowledgeable about the special problems with our driveway. They regraded, put in new grain system and a curb to re-direct the water. They even accommodated our last minute changes. Our drivewsy was the ugliest on the block, now it is the most beautiful!

Ask for Hughbert! He was an amazing hands-on project manager - he explained everything, went the extra mile and was very patient even with my 101 questions! Everyone on the team was respectful, diligent and clearly take pride in a job well done. Iâ ve already gotten several unsolicited compliments on their work. After a driveway project left the sides of the driveway messy, Hughbert and his team returned to help me prepare the area for reseeding. He graciously brought extra topsoil in to finish the project. He is considerate and detail oriented.

Allied 1 did a phenomenal job pouring us a driveway and helping us with our drainage issues. They proactively communicated, kept me in the loop, made thoughtful suggestions, and executed perfectly. They definitely know what they are doing and that shows in their laid back demeanor. They make me want to make my whole yard concrete just so I can hire them again.

I'm a first-time homeowner on a budget. I hired Hughbert and his crew because he was proactive and that helped him win the job. They replaced our old driveway and drain (original to our 1948 home), created an entertaining patio area outside of my kitchen door, reconstructed old stairs to my backyard patio (with a handrail) and installed a separate set of stairs on a slope. The team is fast, efficient, and friendly. Hughbert is super responsive. He listens to what you want and sets expectations. He's also good at fielding (and answering) a boatload of questions, and is great at communicating things like timing, structural challenges, etc. The team even threw in "extras" (including redoing a portion of a retaining wall that was busted) when we realized installing a channel/French drain would not work in our driveway. When things had to pivot (thanks to our 1948 home's foundation), he made adjustments to the plan and still delivered satisfying results. The crew also addressed/amended/"fixed" a few final concerns we had. He could've told us it wasn't fixable and just left, but he didn't-- even after the job was technically completed. My tiniest complaint is that the crew was a bit messy. And your yard will be trampled, especially if it's been raining. BUT they were careful not to harm my plants, which I appreciated and we'll be ready to host in spring/summer! Hughbert also reminded us that he's just a text away if something is needed or happens, which is nice and reassuring as we continue to wait for the final concrete work to cure.

I had them pour 2 different areas, They are good and fast. The owner is very nice guy and explains things to you. Would hire them again and give my recommendation.

Hughbert at Allied1 Concrete re-did my garage floor and installed a driveway channel drain and connected it to an existing catch basin. Hughbert is very knowledgeable and was able to reliably and confidently answer all of my questions. I felt at ease with a contractor who I could trust to know the best practices. There was a small issue with the way the drain was initially installed which Hughbert acknowledged and rectified at no extra cost to me.

Hugbhert is a fantastic contractor. We are so glad that we found him to work on replacing our old concrete patio. He and his team went above and beyond to get the work done even there are changes on the plan. Really appreciate his very flexibility and professionalism. For example, we originally planned to use an easier way to get the concrete into our backyard using a truck but it didnâ t turn out feasible, he found a plan B which require much more manual work without additional charge on services. He also communicated really well and understand your needs. I would definitely go back to Hughbert for any other concrete services I need down the road. Hughbert is very professional in his trade experience and customer service. My project with him went well, so well I added on to the scope mid-way through and he accommodated the additional work with a fair change order and performed the work in a timely manner. Hughbert is professional, responsive, and responsible. We enjoyed working with him and the project was high quality and economical.

The work has been completed about 2 months ago (in March 2015). I have multiple spots left after work was done that look like reaction from acid and have white staff on them and concreted looks corroded from this white substance. No follow up after my complains. I also started having cracks in the concrete. Also, did not explain me warranty when I asked. Please come back and fix the spots and tell me what warranty I have.

The contractor did not clean up the concrete that was washed into the bushes next to the driveway, nor did they replace the bricks that lined the previous driveway. The workers were all very helpful and happy (even singing while working).df

The owner, Hughbert Niutupuivaha always notified me by phone or email of any upcoming details and/or changes. From beginning to end of the project, he assured quality. At the end of the project, everything was put into place, the area was clean, and the driveway and walkway looked great.
