"Fernando and Nick did an amazing job totally reinvigorating our extensive, 20-plus-year-old backyard fence. Their power-washing alone made it look nearly new! Before buying our stain color in bulk, they were willing - on short notice - to purchase small amts of 2 colors and paint each on the fence so we could make the best choice. And when several worn boards needed replacing and we realized we needed new hardware on the fence gates, they didn't miss a beat and made time to complete those tasks. Their pricing was excellent and their courteous, service-focused manner was refreshing. We promptly recommended them to a neighbor and began thinking of more jobs they could complete for us."

Customers say: Quality work

"I hired Mr. Rodriguez to repair a metal threshold on a front door that was loose and to add new weather stripping to the same door to close a minor gap that cold air was entering the home through. The repairs were for investment property so I was very please with the quotes he gave prior to making the repairs. Mr. Rodriguez was extremely professional and I was very satisfied with his work. He also recommend additional repairs that needed to be made to the door and how much they would potentially cost in the future. I would definitely recommend Mr. Rodriguez and I would not hesitate to utilize his services in the future."

Caulking Services questions, answered by experts

Whether or not you’re moving the hookups or simply replacing your current units, you should hire a qualified appliance pro to install your new washer and dryer.

You can find a reliable handyperson by looking at professionals in your area and ruling out companies with poor reviews online. Next, check each handyperson on the Better Business Bureau to see if they have a history of complaints and rule out those that do. Finally, you can contact each handyperson to ask the following qualifying questions:

  • What is your hourly rate?

  • Are there any jobs you can’t tackle?

  • Are you fully insured?

  • How many years of experience do you have?

  • Do you have references I can contact?

While handypeople do not need to be licensed in many places, you should only hire insured pros for any home improvement work. Your handyperson should have active liability coverage that protects them and you in the case of an error or accident. Furthermore, if they have employees on your property, they should also have workers’ compensation insurance. If you hire an individual or a company that is not insured and they damage your property, have an accident while on the job, or become injured on your property without insurance, you can be held financially liable.

Absolutely, they tailor their approach to address individual requirements, ensuring satisfaction on every visit.

While a handyperson will do the odd small job for your home, a maintenance person is responsible for conducting regular inspections and repairs. Maintenance people may come in to do small fixes and diagnose any issues you might be facing, but may not have all the same technical abilities as a handyperson.
