"I hate being condescended to. Listen to what I want and then give suggestions on how I might be able to work that out in my kitchen. Don't just tell me it can't be done. I felt like I was wasting my time. I asked about a particular type of closet (not realizing it was part of a bigger cabinet...how would I know) and she told me to follow her (using her finger to me like a child) and said I couldn't have it because it was as part of a bigger piece. She could have just said that. I said if I can't make my kitchen more "usable" (less wasted space), WHY to with custom cabinets. I could just reface. The woman behind me who was waiting to ask her a question said. Listen, if you can't get what you want, I don't blame you for not spending the money. It's easy to reface. So, I called another company and, low and behold, I'm getting partial refacing and partial custom cabinets. He came and we discussed HOW I could get my carousel cabinet (uh - he suggested I go from a double to a single sink - easy peasy) AND, he came in at half the price your website suggested I might pay. It is really nice to be listened to...especially when it's MY money I'm spending."

Whenever something came up during the process my concerns were quickly addressed and I loved the finished product. Very happy with my new kitchen and mudroom. Installed new white shaker cabinets, (very good quality for its price) black granite with leather finish, farmhouse sink, subway tile, plumbing, hardware and etc. Pasha was always and time and very responsive. "We chose Capital Cabinet Refacing to do our small condo kitchen for their pricing. They were much more affordable than the big box stores, and it’s nice to do work with a local business. They offer a lifetime warranty on the cabinets that is transferable to the next owner, just like the box stores. The only down side was the color selection for laminate cabinets was not as large, but we were able to find something that worked for our taste. We had our initial appointment in mid to late April and our cabinets were installed mid June. We were getting the cabinets done for ourselves and were not in a hurry. We were also told in advance before we even signed a contract the wait time would be long due to their high volume of projects. However, it only took them one day to do our small project and I’m pleased with the outcome. I would definitely recommend them, but just make sure to factor in at least 6 weeks for the job to be completed."

"It went very well.  This job took much longer than anticipated, a few unexpected problems were encountered along the way that slowed it down.  The ordering of materials took longer than anticipated and at times we were waiting for those items to arrive.  This was not the contractor's fault though.  The biggest slow-down was the shower glass installation, which KDK was not responsible for.  What was expected to take 2 weeks took 2 months for the shower installation, and Dave was constantly checking with us to see if the shower had been completed during the wait for the glass to arrive.

The biggest problem, as another person has mentioned, is that this is a very small work crew, a two man team and if one man is down for some reason things slow down significantly.  The workmanship was superb, and no attention to detail is spared, very nice craftsmanship.
Cost was kept to the contracted amount.  We added in an item at the last minute and received a very fair cost for this additional work.
