"Well people are broke these days they give a high quote with lots of extras. They give another quote lower an then the 99 dollar drain cleaning quote. I needed just new pipes under the sink. They said the second quote would do all of that. Well I didn't have the second quote cash so he took the calculator and did a little song and Bam there was a agreement worked out . Thx!"

"We recently bought a house and knew we needed some basement waterproofing. We went to Sure Dri because of the Angie's List reviews. And Keith Martin and his staff were great! Keith was very responsive if I had any concerns or questions. He walked me through the process and seemed to genuinely want to make sure what my options were before deciding on an interior French drain. His staff were very fast & professional (& kept the work area super clean). They even cemented an old drain to secure it and move the new sump pump to a new location with no extra charge. He guarantees his work and I highly recommend Sure Dri."

They were very professional and courteous from the rep they sent to assess the situation to the very efficient appointment updates as to when they would start the job. The crew called ahead when they were on the way and arrived right on time and also finished the job on time. "Our chimney had a serious water leak into the fireplace, and none of the local chimney folks seemed to know how to deal with it. But Jeff came by, quickly diagnosed the problem, took apart the top of our chimney, and put it back together again. We've had several heavy rains since and ... no leaks! Jeff was responsible, friendly, and professional. He left the site clean of the debris, and with a chimney that looks better from the outside than it did before. We would definitely use him again for other masonry work."

"Damon and his crew took a dirty semi-wet crawlspace and made it clean and dry. They did all the work in one day. When I thought there might be an issue, Damon was responsive and eager to help."

French Drains questions, answered by experts

On average, a plumber will take 30 minutes to two hours to clear a clogged drain. If the clog is located close to the drain or an access point and isn’t severe, the project will take about half an hour. If the clog is deep within your plumbing system or is a severe blockage, it can take two or more hours to remove the clog. For this reason, main line clogs tend to take longer, usually between two and three hours.

Yes, pop-up drains commonly get clogged with hair, soap scum, and toothpaste. It is important to know how to properly clean the drain or get professional help to ensure it remains clear and can drain water effectively.

Yes, chemical drain cleaners contain sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid, both of which are not only dangerous to your health but also extremely caustic. Drain cleaners will corrode your pipes and could lead to destroyed drain lines, especially if the chemicals interact with the piping for long periods. Unfortunately, this extended interaction is likely if you’re dealing with a clog, as the drain cleaner will have just as much trouble as water does moving through your plumbing system.

Yes, you can pour water down the toilet to help it flush. For each flush, you’ll need 1 to 2 gallons of water for newer toilets or 3 to 5 gallons of water for older toilets. Rather than dumping the entire bucket in all at once, pour the water in slowly for the best results. If you’re pouring water down the toilet to help it flush after a clog, only use 1 gallon of hot water.

No. You should dispose of all oil-based finishing products through a local hazardous waste program. Not only can oil-based finishes be hazardous for the environment if disposed of in the sink, but they can cause clogs in your pipes and stop up your drains. Most municipal garbage or waste disposal companies have a specific location or pick-up schedule for hazardous materials, so that’s your best bet to get rid of excess finishing products.
