"Mike did an excellent job and was very kind.  I was particularly impressed with the care he took when york raking our yard to get out all the ruts and gullies.  He worked with us and had simple solutions / suggestions to our needs.  He didn't try to sell us on everything possible or the most expensive solutions, he helped us come up with a step by step plan.  He also didn't cut corners like other contractors who gave us estimates.  For example, we really needed to put down 2 tons (4,000 lbs) on lime on our red clay yard, so that is what he estimated.  Other contractors gave us an estimate for 200-400 lbs of lime which would have done almost nothing, but gave us a cheaper estimate.  He also chose a very nice brand of seed, not the cheap Kentucky 31 mix with tons of weeds.  Mike worked around rain storms, and mud pits, and kept coming back till the job was all finished up.  We will hire him again.  But, all that said, he is not the cheapest... but you get what you pay for and he was worth the extra cost because we got what we really needed.

"I had a great experience with ARS/Manassas thanks to John Curry, their knowledgeable and professional plumber. John provided an in-depth home inspection of my plumbing and educated me on the importance of venting my sinks to avoid moisture buildup, mold, corrosion, and bad odors. He also found that one of my toilets needed a new flapper valve/lift rod and corrected me on how I was using my garbage disposal, advising me to only use it for light particles stuck to my plate. To assist with the upkeep of my plumbing, John recommended that I buy a drain cleaning kit and even called his dispatch to schedule another member of his team to repair my toilet's lift rod. "Very happy with the work they did. The walkway and patio look amazing. They got it done in a couple of weeks and the price was very reasonable. A couple of areas on the walkway were pooling water and they came right out and adjusted it/fixed it up. They are very responsive and professional. "Eric and his crew were great to work with and did a fantastic job. When we first met with Eric to discuss the project, we described what we wanted but didn't have a detailed plan. He was able to work with us along the way as the project took shape, making slight modifications where needed. Easy to work with and very knowledgeable. Also responsive - usually not more than a day or two went by without hearing something, and if so, he was quick to respond to a call, email, or text. The project experienced some delays (a week or two) but this was due to rainy weather and beyond their control. The work required installation of a lower retaining wall and filling the area behind it to bring to grade level with the driveway, installation of pavers for a walkway and patio, installation of a second wall using dry stacked stone, and installation of exterior porch steps with bluestone treads. They kept the work area organized, used the fill dirt left over from excavation creatively to build up some eroded areas, seeded and strawed impacted areas, and left everything in good shape. I recommend them highly."

"All went well. Some issues with the foundation were worse than thought so the work took a little longer but it was definitely needed. Part of an addition had been built without proper foundation as in none. It was hanging in air. They made an extra trip to replace and fix drains that had to be removed. Took extra care to make sure as little damage to carpet as possible. Terrance Blackwell and crew came for the outside work. They were great. I really appreciated Terrance's extra trip to make sure the drains were fixed. Austin Wells and Peter Dang came for basement floor lift and level and I greatly appreciated their extra effort to take care of the carpets even though they had to drill through the floor.
