"Joe, came to my home to because I had no water. We had agreed upon 8:00 am he text and said he would be there by 7:30. When he arrived I showed him the garage where the house equipment was located. The first thing he noticed was that the water tank switch was installed incorrectly (the switch has been there for 27 years) I had the home built. Then he notice something not up to code. Showed him the well pump and he assess the pump. Joe then tells me my pump failed and would need to be replaced. The price would be 3,500 for the pump and 800.00 to replace the electrical components inside the well. I kindly paid him the $60.00 service fee and said good bye. The next company came at 10:00 am and replaced my pump in about 40 minutes and saved me over $2,000.00! This company stated my wiring was good and everything was fine inside the garage. Folks do your research- if something does not seem right it?s NOT! He left my breaker switch off and turned my range off breaker off!"

When I hadn't heard anything by noon on the next business day, I called and talked to Crystal. She was polite and friendly, but could not find a record of my submission. I received a confirmation stating "a representative will be getting back to you shortly". A NICE FEATURE THAT, UNFORTUNATELY, DOES NOT WORK!!"

Depending on local conditions, a deep well may be a better choice than a shallow well. Deeper well depth accesses groundwater that has been naturally filtered through many layers of soil and rock. Septic tank costs vary with the size of the tank—and the size you need depends on the size of your household. For example, a 1,000-gallon septic tank is the minimum size for most 1-, 2-, or 3-bedroom homes, and costs between $900 and $1,500. However, the tank is only one part of the septic system—which costs significantly more to install. If you’re setting up a new septic system (rather than replacing an existing tank), you can expect to pay about $7,310 on average. Costs can be higher depending on the type of septic system you choose.

If you notice that your well pump runs continuously, it’s important to take action quickly to avoid further damage. A few common issues may be to blame for a continuously running well pump, such as mechanical damage, a faulty pressure control switch, low water level, prime loss, and leaking pipes and fixtures.

The depth of a septic tank’s drain lines is between 18 and 36 inches underground. These pipes are filled with perforations and surrounded by sand, gravel, or a combination of both, as both materials help filter wastewater. While some pipes are buried closer to the surface, this can create problems unless the soil is compact and doesn’t shift much.
