"A crew showed up within the hour and immediately assessed and estimated, then went to work after I got the insurance OK.
It took several hours to tear out what was necessary, not only due to the extent, but because they were thorough and ensured that what they removed, both anticipated and unanticipated, was indeed necessary. I appreciated that. After they set the machinery to dry the infrastructure, I didn't have to clean up after them. Only had to hose the sidewalk from all the wet flakes of drywall that was removed. The crew did not slack off, nor were they surly. At a time when I'm trying not to stress out badly, their professionalism was welcomed.
A few days later when they removed the machinery at their estimated time, Jerry and Billie left only after they ensured the machines were no longer required.
My insurance sent another firm to perform the restoration, but had they sent the Burke ServPro for that I wouldn't have worried at all. [The new restoration company appears fine so far, too, but as it is ongoing, we'll see.]

"Mr. Benner has been in business for 16 years and he still has the energy of a new business entrepreneur. He was recommended by the radon level testing company we secured to test our newly built home, which was completed in September 2014. Our levels were in the and quot;7and quot; level, only about 2x the level recommended for active remediation. According to Mr. Benner, he has remediated buildings with levels above 100 in the past. "JT of Dragon Ridge performed a Home Inspection and Radon Testing of a SFH in Fairfax, VA. JT arrived before I did, and was already examining the exterior of the property. While we waiting for my realtor to arrive, he grabbed a ladder and did a complete inspection of the roof (not all inspectors do this). Once we got inside, he explained the processes and we began. I shadowed him throughout the whole processes, and it was a wonderful experience. He was very thorough and knowledgeable, and was always willing to provide complete and educational answers about both the good and the bad he found. We got the report later that evening, and it was well written, with plenty of pictures of any deficiencies. He also performed a Radon test, and reported the results a few days later. I spoke to him over the phone about the findings, and he was able to discuss in detail the methodology he used, and the meanings of the testing numbers. Overall, I would highly recommend JT and Dragon Ridge."

"CSI was flexible and was able to schedule a home inspector the day after I got a bid accepted on a house. The inspector, Patrick, showed up on time and the inspection took about 4 hours. Patrick was responsive to any questions I had by email or live during the inspection. My one recommendation is that I requested a pest, mold, radon, and home inspection. It would be a better heads up if they explained that they sometimes outsource the radon inspection depending on availability of radon inspectors. Also, they can explain a bit more for new home buyers what is involved with a mold inspection. Patrick ended up just eyeing whether he spotted any mold. Because he did not see any mold, we did not have to pay extra for mold samples."
