I received an extremely reasonable estimate with photos of previous work the same day! Andrew was quickly able to fit me in his schedule and job was done quickly. Excellent follow-up and friendly customer service by taking his time to explain process and answer all my questions. Highly Recommend! I will always call Ultimate Powerwash for my pressure washing needs. Thanks again!"

"Mr. Leach is truly one of the best handymen I’ve ever worked with. His professionalism, attention to detail, and strong work ethic really set him apart. He handles a wide range of services, including TV mounting, grill assembly, and junk removal, and completes each job with skill and precision. No matter the task, he makes sure everything is done right the first time. He’s reliable, always shows up on time, and communicates clearly throughout the process, which makes working with him stress-free. It’s clear he takes pride in his work, and the results speak for themselves. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, versatile, and highly capable, I would absolutely recommend Mr. Leach."

Customers say: Super punctual

"The initial job was done extremely well. However, the service just "decided" afterwards that I needed a weekly mowing, even though that was not discussed and no contracts were signed. The mowing was at a fair price, but I did not want to pay it weekly, so I called and asked them to stop. They came out and mowed once more, and then stopped. So the problem I had with them was communication/responsiveness; otherwise, they were fine."

Pressure Washing questions, answered by experts

The answer to how often you should pressure wash your house is the same no matter whether your siding is wood, metal, or vinyl. Plan to do a project like this once a year with occasional hand cleanings in between to remove unexpected dirt—like debris from an especially violent storm or droppings from birds flying overhead.

Depending on the amount of experience you have with power washing or pressure washing, hiring a professional is likely a better option. Using a pressure washer requires a bit of know-how to avoid damaging siding, trim, roofing shingles, and even the seals on your windows. Holding the pressure washer too close to the material you’re cleaning can cause damage to the surface. You can wash your home’s exteriors with a garden hose, but high-pressure cleaning should be done by professionals.

This answer is a bit tricky because experts say both. You should apply your cleaning solution from bottom to top, but rinse from top to bottom to avoid streaking. When it comes to multi-story houses, you’ll want to start at the top floor and work your way down, but follow the above instructions for each level as if it were an independent structure, rather than washing the whole house as one unit.

Your deck may look or feel fuzzy after pressure washing because the high-pressure spray tears some wood fibers as it removes the outer layer of dead and discolored wood. This fuzzy effect is a normal part of the pressure-washing process and will go away on its own in a few weeks. You can opt to spot-sand your deck if you’d like to remove it more quickly.

You could void your roof warranty using a power washer if you have a newer roof. With an older roof, you could knock loose older shingles. On the other hand, some people safely use a pressure washer to remove moss from a metal roof. Although you may want to use a pressure washer, the truth is that you probably don’t need it to knock moss loose. A garden hose and brush will do the job just fine and in a safer manner than a pressure washer.
