"Very professional. They did an excellent job cleaning all the air ducts and the dryer vent. Also treated the air conditioning vents in the attic for mold. House smells a lot better now. They would wear shoe covers every time they entered the house. Very reasonable in their pricing. I would highly recommend them."

"It was completed. How well it was done, remains to be seen. Thank goodness I was home, but the crew showed up 6 hours early, which fortunately worked out. The crew was very professional and nice, and explained things. Why I say it remains to be seen how well they did is because I know the ducts have not been cleaned in years; shame on me and the previous owners. However, when I was the amount of dirt that was disposed, it did not seem like a lot of dirt. I base this on the internal pictures that the crew and the man who inspected our heater took of the duct."

"Excellent Water/Well Testing Service from NextDay Inspect – Highly Recommend! I recently had a water/well test done by NextDay Inspect, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the entire process. From scheduling the appointment to receiving the results, everything was seamless and professional. Sonya, the inspector who came out, was amazing. She was punctual, thorough, and took the time to explain the entire testing process. She made sure I understood what was being tested and why, which gave me confidence in the results. The whole experience was smooth and stress-free, and I really appreciated how well everything was organized. The results were delivered quickly, and NextDay followed up to make sure I had all the information I needed. I can confidently say that NextDay Inspect provides top-tier service, and I highly recommend them for anyone needing water/well testing."

"Our basement flooded and we hired Water Damage Pro Master LLC (online search for Water Damage America). They came 1 hour after the flood occurred (11pm), worked until 2am, and continued during business hours to mitigate damage and mold. They removed furniture and heavy exercise equipment and disposed of everything. The job was fast, complete, and clean; they coordinated with our insurance. We hired the company to rebuild, including walls, floor, and baseboards. It is beautiful and they were careful to keep the house clean and move furniture back into the place. Wali and Julio worked tirelessly, and were pleasant throughout the job. They have incredible skill and a lot of heart. Yousef helped us pick lovely and strong flooring. I recommend them with five stars plus."

Mold Testing and Remediation questions, answered by experts

The most common reason for a smelly dishwasher is a dirty dishwasher filter. The filter is responsible for catching food while your machine is running to prevent clogs. Over time, that filter gets more and more filled with food particles. Cleaning your dishwasher filter monthly can keep the smell at bay.

Yes, if there is mold in your drywall mud and you then use it to build walls in your house—or if mold develops in your set drywall, like it can in hot and humid areas—it can lead to illness. Mold in your drywall (or other parts of your home) can make existing respiratory conditions or allergies worse, and the effect can be more intense for those who have existing health issues or compromised immune systems.

When used in the correct quantity and with the right procedures, boric acid will produce fumes with limited to no toxicity. You’re more likely to experience adverse side effects from boric acid toxicity by accidentally ingesting it or touching it with bare skin. All the same, wearing an air-filtering mask is a good way to keep even minorly toxic fumes out of your system. Don’t forget gloves, too!

DIY kits are available for basic air quality testing, but professional services provide more comprehensive results and recommendations. While a DIY kit may seem cost-effective, a professional assessment is more thorough. Inspectors are better equipped to catch all pollutants and hazards, and you'll still need a professional to verify and act on DIY test results. Furthermore, some kits don't test for certain pollutants or only detect their presence without measuring specific levels (like mold spores). It's generally better to opt for a detailed professional assessment.

The primary signs of mold in an ice machine is a musty odor, slime buildup, and discolored ice. If you notice any of these signs, clean your ice maker immediately.
