"Manor works recently stained the exterior of my house, in addition to some minor wood rot repair and replacement. Alfredo and his crew took the utmost care in every detail of their work, going above and beyond expectation. For example, my house is 38 yrs old, and has been stained many times before and after we purchased it. Never in those 38 yrs has it ever been stained underneath the gutter downspouts. It is now! They took great care of protecting all the windows/doors/stone foundation/light fixtures from paint overspray. "Everything went better than could ever have been expected. Ray Gibbs himself was on the job to supervise especially in the beginning and in the end but also several times before his crew had finished.  He was involved in all aspects on the job.  His crew was excellent, they always arrived on time and cleaned up afterwards. they were professional and pleasant to work with.  I have no complaints and would highly recommend them.  I could not be happier with the paint job.  We had several highly rated painters from Angie's list give us estimates.  Gibbs painting was at the lower end and was recommended to me by my decorator. I will use them again once I have the energy to continue painting the upstairs.
The piece de resistance however are the built-in shelves. I cannot tell you how pleased I am with the unit.  It was designed by my decorator, however the real test was putting the simple picture with minimal direction  into a usable unit  The craftsmanship  is top notch and the unit itself makes a WOW statement. I just need the energy now to fill the shelves with artwork and books. Most importantly, Ray Gibbs was flexible and put up with several changes that I made as we went through this process, graciously. his croup worked up until Christmas Eve and Ray himself came back the day after Christmas to install the TV brackets.

"The owner came for a free estimate and explained all that would be done. He was very personable and down-to-earth;  his demeaner was sincere . He did not require any down payment for the work. He contacted the company who initially stained my deck to find out the exact products and stain color that was used since it was important to me that the same color be used.  I don't think any other company would have done that; they would have made the owner do it. I was impressed!  I asked for references of previous work he had done and I was sent 4 names, email addresses and phone numbers of previous clients and their  responses were all excellent. The workers came the day they said they would and performed all of the job as scheduled.   I found some areas where the stain had not taken as well and they returned right away to resolve the problem to my satisfaction before any payment was accepted. The owner also stopped by afterwards to observe the work done and make sure it was satisfactory.

"They did a decent job at staining my deck, but they missed a few spots. I asked the owner to address this issue and he said he would send his folks to take care those spots. Unfortunately, no one ever came do those touch ups. Overall, follow up was poor and non-existent based on my experience. This is an update on my previous review. The owner reached out to me and apologized for the delay in the touch up work and promptly came back and completed the touch ups personally. Overall, I'm happy with how my deck looks. Based on this and my interaction with the owner, I do believe that this company cares about its customers' satisfaction and that my initial experience may have been an exception rather than the norm."

"Had them come to do some interior painting for our home. Did get an estimate from another company and Pint the DMV was less by a significant margin. Unfortunately the week of our appointment there was heavy rain in the area which caused our project start date to move back 3 days however Steve let me know early in the week and I was able to accomodate without any issues. On the day of the project, they arrived on time. Their prepwork was perfect, no extra pain on the carpet or trim. We had them paint 3 bedrooms, kitchen, living, and family room (walls only) before we moved into a new home. End results looked great! They were even able to patch up a hole in the wall were the previous owners and run cables through. All in all, the wife and I were extremely happy with the end result. I anticipate calling them in spring for some more work (likely exterior/deck staining) and maybe another bedroom. Thank you."

(Some businesses use Home Depot supplies and charge you $$$$ but Balteza Property Services was reasonable AND they special ordered a top quality stain.)
