"This was, by far, the largest and most expensive project I have used NV Outdoors for. I have been a homeowner for over 20 years here in the Woodbridge area. I can say without reservation that NV Outdoors is one of the most professional, honest, and competent contractors I have ever used. My old deck was 24' x 40' and made of old wood and was falling apart. NV Outdoors explained to me the benefits of the various materials that could be used to replace my deck and I decided on a composite material replacement. "Highly recommend Angel and his team. They installed new crown molding in the kitchen, fireplace and updated the baseboard in the living room and foyer areas. It all looks so much better than I anticipated. Their work is perfection and Angel's guidance in certain areas that I was not sure of was spot on. Their work is the cleanest I have come across (wish I knew them when I was remodeling the kitchen), highly professional and they finished the job a day ahead of schedule. "The work done was very good. We went back and forth over whether to install a vinyl or wood railing, finally settling on wood. I asked them to match what was existing on my porch. The handrail matched well, but the balusters were made from a lower grade wood with visible knots and defects, where the existing was clear pine. The handiwork on the railing was excellent. It is too bad they didn't spend a few more dollars on materials. The painting was good, although they failed to fill in dings and nail holes on my existing porch. Again, how much time does that take to go from a good job to an excellent job? After I wrote the above, someone came out from JTH to apply putty to the defects in the balusters and fill in the holes on the existing porch, then he re-painted. He was most kind about making it right. I pointed out to him that the painters painted around things on the porch that could have been easily removed, meaning some paint got on the door knocker and on the natural brick face of the house. There was also some spillage that I noticed after the job was done. We would not use them again for a painting job; we might consider for carpentry."

"First and foremost you can not go into a project such as this without having a collaborative relationship with the Contractor. 
My husband and I are 60+ and with all the work we did to get the house ready for this project we learned a lot,  Our primary role was to  get all materials needed by Justin and his crew to get the job done.
We brought the bamboo flooring, moulding, bathroom materials (vanity/mirror, tub, tile, grout, tank/commode, shower door), handrail/stairs, lights for top/bottom of the stairs and Justin got the paint, nails for the flooring, plaster and drywall.  Justin picked up materials from Home Depot as needed and went with me to get some of the materials to be sure it was correct. 
Justin created the work plan, we provided the key products. Justin has a crew that worked long hours to get the prep work done for the painting.  Taking down the popcorn ceiling made enough dust to have created its own dust storm. What a mess...LOL! 
The painter came one Saturday for painting.
The young man (Ariel) doing the flooring worked from 8am to 7pm on specific days.  This young man did an amazing job with the floors both hardwood and tile. What a work ethic he has!
Justin was always onsite each morning at 7am to make sure the crew had their assignments to complete the project and at the end of each work day progress was obvious.  No day passed without seeing visible progress.  They always cleaned up after themselves and took stuff to the dump to keep the site clear.
Since both my husband and I were out of the house during the day we had to leave the crew.  The trust with Justin and his crew created a situation that was both successful and non-intimidating.  Frustrations existed but were managed.  If issues come up they were addressed immediately; Justin made it easy to work this project.
One lesson we learned is to ask more questions and to be more specific.  Certain tasks were discussed but not written down; lesson learned.  Gotta keep a to do list!!  This is a collaborate effort so it not fair to expect the Contactor to know what you are thinking.  Remember its your home!
We had an issue with the tank/commode and did not clearly understand the problem; took several days to get a water leak corrected.  Justin's plumber was onsite twice, a visit to Home Depot and a second opinion finally resolved the issue.
Justin creates a work process that creates results.  The attention to the bigger picture allowed the project to get done.  Some days the vision was not so clear to us but the end product was a success."

"Mr. Mendez and his crew did an excellent job with our skylights installation and painting our shutters and also painting our kitchen and family room.
