How often you clean a bathroom depends on how often you use it and how many people are in your home. In general, a bathroom should be cleaned once per week or every other week. But a bathroom deep-clean done at least every two weeks allows you to keep bacteria and mildew away.

To clean an estate, start by locating all important documents, which you’ll need to sort through. Have the mail forwarded, change the locks, and take inventory of the entire estate. Once you know what you’re dealing with, create a plan and a timeline for the cleanout. Start clearing out rooms and sorting items to donate, sell, or get rid of. Finally, deep clean the property.

Various mites can cause health problems for people and pets, such as allergies, skin irritation, and respiratory issues. Some mites, like scabies and chiggers, can transmit diseases or bacterial infections. Other types, such as dust, mold, and spider mites, also pose risks. Spider mites, for example, can quickly spread to and damage houseplants. It is best to eradicate any type of mite from your home and seek medical care if you experience symptoms.

Aside from rinsing your sink with dish soap daily, we recommend disinfecting your sink one to two times per week. You can make your own homemade cleaning spray and have it ready for your weekly cleanings. If you work with raw meat in your sink, make sure you wash the entire sink basin and drain with dish soap immediately after use.
