I called early in the morning and Evergreen Electric was able to work me into their schedule on the same day which I was very grateful for due to the safety concerns of not having properly working smoke alarms in my house. Thad Sale and his assistant showed up at the appointed time and changed out the six smoke alarms very quickly. They also changed out one I had forgotten about (basement) while they were at my house. Also, Thad Sale gave me an estimate for a potential new electric project which seemed very reasonable. Evergreen was very professional and answered all my questions. "Wonderful, it was a very quick and easy process. Brian talked us through it and in no time we had a 3KW system mounted on a frame in the garden and the invertor installed in the basement. Brian talked us through working with our power company to get the system checked and approved and we now get credits from the power company for power we provide to the grid. In addition we are set up to get Solar Renewable Energy Credits (SRECs) payments for providing clean energy. We also got a free Energy Audit which helped locate some problems areas we were able to fix. The system has basically cut our energy costs in half. "Matt and his crew were on time, professional and on time. We first called a big name company that you may see on the back of a truck. Well that company quoted us $10,000-$15,000 for less work; at that point it was ONLY the furnace. I called Matt for a second opinion. Obviously, he quoted me for half the price of the back of the truck company WITH the water heater added in. Total work done: replaced furnace and outside unit, replaced water heater, installed water pump, installed 2 EcoBee thermostats. The big name company was ONLY doing the furnace and outside unit.
