"The job was done quickly and efficiently. I was present when the team did the site preparation. I observed a lot of the work out of curiosity. They worked well as a team. Deliveries of the septic tank and materials for the drain field arrived on time and in coordination with the work being done. Several tactical decisions were made regarding the installation of the drain field to speed up the job in an effort to remain ahead of the weather. This gave them time to fill in the trenches, smooth the surface, plant seed that we requested, and cover the seed with straw before the rain came. Otherwise, we would have had a muddy mess. "It is with reservations that I would recommend A.M Construction. Anthony was always pleasant, but we experienced difficulties contacting him, getting responses for information requests and pinning a date down for the project. He was extremely busy, and seemed to be a victim of his own popularity. as he was overwhelmed with work and catching up from weather delays. Our flexibility with scheduling worked against us as our project was pushed further and further off. Installation of the drain field and septic system was completed in a single day. They did a good job with the drain field and the septic installation, but managed during the process to hit our foundation and damage several trees with the front loader. We are satisfied with the quality of the septic system, just not satisfied with the process we had to go through to reach the end result."

"These gentlemen were a pleasure to work with. They were on time the day of our appointment. They told me work that I thought was necessary didn’t need to be done. Their prices were very reasonable. The most important aspect was their honesty. I thought I had to replace my hot water tank. They informed me it wasn’t necessary and I would get several more years out of it. That is a rare quality you don’t see often. The second estimate I received the plumber said I needed to replace the whole system and several other things. That sealed the deal and I went with Guinea Station Engineering. They will be my go to plumbers from now on."

"The problems were strange and required some investigation. The team first focused on the washer drainage. Eventually they used a camera inserted into the clearance pipe to check the drainage pipe from the house to the septic tank. They discovered a "dip" in the pipe, possibly resulting in an obstruction that might have caused the water to back up, kind of like a rock in a stream. (Admittedly, I may not describe this as clearly as I should...not a plumber!). Using shovels and an excavator, they dug about 5 feet into the ground between the house and the septic tank, ultimately discovering both the dip/weakening in the pipe and a 3" crack (almost half of the pipe) closer to the house. I feel like their work saved us much more money down the road, because without investigating/fixing the "dip" in the pipe, we would never have know about that crack. Without repair, it could would likely have begun leaking back into the foundation. The team was able to replace a 10' section of pipe, connect it to the septic, and confirm a steady drain of water. We have not had the backup or any drainage issues since. However, the smell didn't completely leave the laundry room. They came out again and, after a couple of smoke tests and cuts into the drywall, discovered a vent pipe that had in years past (we've owned the house for 5 years) simply been cut to move the washing machine hookups to the side wall (rather than the back). Although the smoke largely discharged through the roof vents as designed, this uncapped vent allowed septic odors to creep back into the washing room, particularly in the morning when the air outside was heavier. They were able to cap the pipe, and that removed the odor. We have not had any issues since they completed their work. The team was very responsive, and worked with me to reschedule the washing room work after a death in one of the worker's family...only slipped a single day. They also reduced the cost for disconnecting/moving the washer and dryer, since they didn't reconnect them (We were of course going to have to do get drywall repair/paint work after they finished). Although I am hoping to avoid any plumber issues for a while, I know who I will call if something comes up. Absolutely recommend this team."

"Shawn has came out twice to my house through my Home Warranty company. He has always been professional, on time, and always very communicative. The first time was to repair an external water line and got me up and running with water as quickly as possible. Then, my water heater was leaking and he came out on 4/18/20 and gave me a full breakdown on how the installation will work, about warranties, and set me up a time to come on Monday 4/20/20. He messaged me later on Saturday and said he wanted me to have hot water quickly so asked if he could come on Sunday. I told him that would be great. He called me to let me know when he was an hour away. Him and his co-worker came in and had me installed in a very quick turnaround. They cleaned up and explained and made sure I was satisfied. Would definitely recommend."

"The plumber was courteous and let me know what he did. The jury is still out whether his work is sufficient. He explained that he could not screw in the outside faucet bib to the foundation because the hole was too large so he caulked all around the bib. Unless the caulk was concrete, I'm not sure how this will be able to ensure the bib doesn't move when using the faucet. I'll check it out in the spring and change my review if needed."
