"I contacted FH Furr because my HVAC ( a Trane XV80) which is less than 5 years old had stopped working. Specifically, the indoor unit would not blow; the compressor worked just fine and was producing cold air. The technician, Jarib Badia, arrived at 10 AM and told me that the unit had a defective blower motor that was likely damaged by a power surge and that Trane would not cover the replacement because it was an Act of God. He then said I needed to spend 3000 dollars on a new motor. I reluctantly agreed to the repair because I needed the HVAC fixed even though the technician’s hypothesis that a power surge caused the damage appeared to lack any evidence. Nevertheless, the technician proceeded to spend 10 HOURS trying to fix the HVAC, even after he replaced the supposedly damaged blower motor. At the end of the day, he admitted that he didn’t have the unit completely fixed but that he was able to get the unit to cycle on low speed. He said he would need additional parts in the AM to completely fix it but that the unit was properly cycling. Nothing could be farther from the truth. After he left at 7:45 PM, I noticed that the HVAC blower motor was not turning off, even when the compressor shut off after the thermostat reached proper temperature. I turned the system to the “off” setting in hopes of getting the blower motor to shut off. This did not work. I now had an HVAC with a constant on blower motor. The only way to shut off the blower motor was to turn off the entire system at the circuit breaker. I immediately called FH Furr to tell them that their technician had totally botched the repair after charging me 3700 dollars and wasting 10 hours of my day. I was told that they could not send a technician until the morning and that a service manager would call me. I have yet to receive that phone call. So I now have an HVAC that is in worse than when the day started and I am out 3700 dollars. I need FH Furr to fix their botched repair or issue a refund."

"Absolutely stay VERY FAR from Plumbing Innovators--HORRIBLE service, unprofessional, repairs not done as promised, terribly rude technician. Tony was downright nasty with me on the phone when I expressed dissatisfaction that my issue wasn't fixed. He gave me a quote to fix the jets on my bathtub, then after he started the repairs, said there was another faulty part that ALSO needed to be repaired--this possibility was NOT made clear to me upon getting the first quote; he buried it in the fine print of the written quote but NEVER verbally explained it to me--and it was going to cost more for the new part, more labor, AND he was going to have to cut into my cabinetry to do it. But he'd have to cut into my cabinetry in order to even get the price on the part from the manufacturer, so (of course) I'd be obligated to pay whatever he came back at me with, AND end up with damage to my cabinets that I'd also have to pay someone else to fix. But this was after the work had been started (not completed, though), so I could either agree to let him cut into my cabinetry to even GET the price, or pay the $375 for no fix at all. When I told him this was terrible business practice and that I was displeased with his not having properly communicated the probability of a much higher cost, plus damage, before starting work that I now had to pay nearly $400 for (with NO FIX), he got nasty, blamed me for being upset about it, and swore at me when I persisted that he wasn't doing good business. Highly unprofessional and misleading. BEWARE."

"SUMMARY Jeff and his company arrived on time, however their customer service and demeanor were very rough and unprofessional. Jeff would openly yell and swear at his brother, insulting him and telling my wife and I to ignore him. Careless and sloppy work. CLEANLINESS AND CARE They did not wear booties or put down a mat or put a lot of care into protecting our home while working. They left loose screws around, put their tools directly on our appliances, scratching them. We had to ask them to put down a towel or something to protect our belongings. UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR At one point, while working on our outdoor spigot, Jeff was yelling at his brother and pushed him into our outside AC unit causing it to jostle around. We were afraid of damages. Jeff has no problem bad mouthing previous customers and being confrontational. QUALITY OF WORK Jeff knows what he's doing in practice and years of experience. I don't think this outweighs his and his workers' professionalism. The placement of the hoses from our laundry room sink were awkward and nonsensical. Ultimately will not hire them again."

Recently I engaged Andy to service our well-water acid neutralizer tank, because I questioned the reliability of service by another company 13 months earlier. Andy tested our water and found that its pH value was 6.97, which was consistent with previous readings over the past six months when he did other work for us. Because our well-water pH is essentially neutral, Andy explained the acid neutralizer tank is not necessary. He offered two options: 1) remove the tank (thus leaving us with only the water softener tank) or 2) empty it, which option I selected. He also reduced the cost of the service call. Andy’s approach starkly contrasts with the other company that for years took advantage of an unsuspecting customer by charging almost $300 to “service” the tank and unnecessarily adding expensive calcite. "Joe, came to my home to because I had no water. We had agreed upon 8:00 am he text and said he would be there by 7:30. When he arrived I showed him the garage where the house equipment was located. The first thing he noticed was that the water tank switch was installed incorrectly (the switch has been there for 27 years) I had the home built. Then he notice something not up to code. Showed him the well pump and he assess the pump. Joe then tells me my pump failed and would need to be replaced. The price would be 3,500 for the pump and 800.00 to replace the electrical components inside the well. I kindly paid him the $60.00 service fee and said good bye. The next company came at 10:00 am and replaced my pump in about 40 minutes and saved me over $2,000.00! This company stated my wiring was good and everything was fine inside the garage. Folks do your research- if something does not seem right it?s NOT! He left my breaker switch off and turned my range off breaker off!"
