Ted from Johnson’s worked with me to have my piano moved into their climate-controlled storage for a week during the installation. My house has a side entrance which made the move pretty challenging, but the excellent crews who moved the piano out and back in were very creative in accommodating the challenge with the front door and they took great care not to damage my railings on the stoop. I highly recommend Johnson’s Piano Moving!"

"I contacted American Moving based on the reviews here on Angies List; they were one of three companies I contacted. Mike came out to the house to look things over and talk through the details of my move requirements; most of the bids were all virtual, this personal touch did make a difference. The price he quoted ended up being right in the middle of the other bids and I went with them. Moving day was scheduled on a day that was calling for TERRIBLE weather and Mike was able to accommodate my request to move the date up by a day which was perfect. The movers were super punctual, super professional and so helpful as some of the "where to put things" decisions were not all worked out. They were patient and also so pleasant to work with. It took 10 hours for the entire move and it went flawlessly in my opinion. I would use American Moving & Storage again and would highly recommend them."

Nation Capital Moving is extremely responsive, had the best rates out of what I scoped around the area, and very flexible throughout the entire process. I had the lucky opportunity to move during the pandemic and was grateful to hear that they allow one rescheduling for free before charging any fees. The day of, the movers showed up early. So early in fact that we weren't ready for them yet, and they were happy to wait until we were ready and didn't start the time until we signed the initial paperwork.
