"Fantastic, I was so pleased to get an estimate half the price of 2 different contractors selling for Jacuzzi-one day shower remodels, and jacuzzi was only redoing the shower walls, pan and grab bars only. King’s Remodeling and Restoration did my whole bathroom to include a shower door, shower seat, knitch, took out a drop ceiling and tiled porcelain tile to the ceiling, put in mosaic matted tile for the shower floor, put in new vanity and replaced bathroom floor with LVT. They also replaced the trim and painted the bathroom. It looks great! Very happy with the professionalism of the staff and the abilities of the staff, especially their Tiler- Chris H. I am having King’s back to do flooring for me and to redo my second bathroom. I recommend King’s Remodeling and Restoration Very highly. I would be glad to provide before and after photos of my bathroom. Thank you for the chance to review this company."

"Excellent job by all! The team was on time, professional, and skilled. They worked with my ideas and were careful to clean up daily after working. We had a delay in glass arriving for our shower so they configured a temporary shower curtain holder for us and even brought a new shower curtain that they put up until the glass arrived. I highly recommend this contractor!"

"Domingo did a great job. He gave a great quote and work proceeded as planned. There was a hiccup with parts for the shower door but that was beyond his control. The work was excellent and I am very happy with the results"

"Carlos and his team of professionals from Apex General Contracting turned my unfinished basement into an amazing living space. After doing my homework to find out what was required for the project and what each element should cost, I consulted with four contractors about the job before calling Apex. Several qualities stood out right away with Carlos and his team. First, they knew what they were talking about with regard to our local building code requirements. I had studied the requirements and had a long list of questions. Carlos was able to answer every question on the spot.
The second quality that got my attention was the number of questions Carlos asked us. He understood that this was an important project for our family so he spent considerable time talking to us about the little details that would be important to making the space comfortable and functional.
Once the project began, it was clear that the quality of the work was top-notch. These guys don't cut corners or improvise. They do the work the right way the first time and if something is not right, they fix it.

We lived in the house throughout the project so we saw Carlos' team every day. The crew was always professional and very respectful of our home.  Carlos communicated with us regularly about the progress so we always knew if there was going to be more noise or more dust than normal .
This was a major project for us so we needed to find the right contractor to do the job for a reasonable price. Apex General Contracting was the perfect choice and we look forward to welcoming them back into our home for our next project.

Unfinished Carpentry questions, answered by experts

The cost to install a bow window can range from $1,500 to $15,000, with a national average of $3,900. The total price includes materials, which can cost between $1,200 and over $14,000, and labor, which typically adds $300 to $1,900. Several factors influence the final cost, including the window's size and frame material. For example, vinyl frames are the most budget-friendly option, while wood frames are more expensive. Custom features or energy-efficient upgrades will also increase the price. For comparison, a bay window installation typically costs between $1,000 and $7,000.

House framing can be expensive because the materials are pricey, and the job requires a high level of expertise. The more complex the plans, the more expensive the job, but even the most basic frame needs to be installed with high-quality materials and precision. When pricing your home’s framework, remember that a sturdy frame is necessary to create a safe structure.

The cost to frame a 2,000-square-foot house can fall anywhere between $14,000 and $32,000. This price can increase or decrease depending on what type of framing you choose, the quality of the materials, the project's complexity, and whether you decide to hire a professional to do the job.

An A-frame home can be cheaper to build than a traditional house, but that is not always a given. Prices can be fairly similar in some cases, depending on the location, design, and necessary site preparation. Costs for an A-frame typically run between $100 to $200 per square foot, which is comparable to the cost of a traditional home. The cost of an A-frame can come in under those numbers if you opt for a prefabricated kit.

Bump-out additions can add some space to a closet without requiring any significant structural work. This entails pushing back the existing rear or side of the closet, simply moving the wall into either an adjacent room or unused space. For ground-floor closets, this could even be extended to the exterior of the home, but that has its own complications. Bump-outs are a good discussion to have with your contractor if you’re just looking to increase the space a little—not renovate the entire closet space.
