Very quick service after a tree fell sending 3 others onto yard and on deck stairs. Communication was excellent, estimate was exactly within our insurance and our budget. The crew was kind and worked like a well trained team. The area was left clean. Further information was given about care of a tree that was hit but that we are trying to save. My neighbors appreciated the crew and care they took parking work trucks. They would hire this company and we would also invite them back if needed. No need to get other estimates. VA Tree and Landscape did an outstanding job trimming several trees around our property. They left us mulch and throughly cleaned up all the debris. All of this was provided at a competitive and reasonable price.

Anthony visited me to give an estimate for removing a tree. He gave me a detailed explanation for what was happening to the tree and told me what he would do and why. He then took the time to walk my yard and teach me about each tree, giving me tips on how to keep them healthy. He pointed out an old injury one tree had and showed me how it was healing but advised me to keep an eye on it. He also explained the problems vines were causing, and told me what he and his team would do to kill them. I learned more about trees in that 30-minute discussion than I had leaned in my entire life previously. Within a few days he and his team showed up and removed the tree without a single issue—they worked hard, made very little noise, and cleaned up afterwards. I was amazed at how efficient, polite, and professional the entire crew was. Afterwards, Anthony took me around the yard to show me what they had done to the vines on other trees, and showed me how the vines in the tree they removed were part of a network of vines in my neighbor’s trees. I appreciated his clear explanations, expertise, and guidance. You don’t see this level of professionalism very often. I will be giving him all my landscaping business from now on. Do not pass up the chance to work with him!

Virginia Tree & Landscapes was recommended to us by our concrete contractor. In preparation of expanding our driveway, we needed four trees removed, as well as some additional stumps and roots. Anthony provided a timely in-person estimate and was able to perform the job just a few days later, keeping us on timeline for our concrete job. Anthony and his team did a great job at a fair price. They were professional, courteous, and left our property clean. Highly recommend and will definitely call Anthony next time we need tree trimming/removal.

This was my first tree removal job that I contracted out so I lack comparison, but I can say this: Anthony came out to give an estimate. The job was to remove nine large trees as well as their stumps that were close to the house, two of them were dead. I asked to have the trimming of two other trees' dead branches included in the estimate. He seemed knowledgeable and trustworthy and the agreed upon price was very competitive. The estimated time to complete the job was two to three days, and the leadtime several weeks. After comparing with 3 other proposals of providers with similar size and feedback profile, I decided to go with Anthony. A competitor would have done the same job in the following week, but for almost double the price - not worth it. Anthony and his crew showed up as planned and on time to do the job. They removed all trees and stumps in a professional manner. They worked around the obstacles and seemed to have everything under control. For an additional cost they removed some additional tree stumps. At the end they cleaned up thouroughly and left me happy and with more sunlight in the backyard. The project was completed after two and a half days just like estimated. I would recommend them to friends and neighbors and already have.

Great! Anthony and his crew arrived early, we discussed what I wanted done and they completed the work in no time at all. I was so impressed with how they worked together so effortlessly, and how patient and so pleasant they all were. The quote I received was so reasonable. I was expecting to pay a lot more. But what pleased me most of all was how clean they left my yard. When I looked at my yard I said, "it doesn't even look like you were here" they cleaned up everything and more. And that is exactly what professionals do! They even put up with my sense of humor and they did it well. Thanks guys... you were awesome!

All I can say is I wish I had more work for these guys to do - They were excellent! Anthony communicated along the way concerning appointment times for estimates, scheduling, etc. I felt their review of the work needing to be done was knowledgeable and they were fair in their pricing. Anthony and Lucas took down 3 trees for me and spent 6+ hours with the log splitter on logs that I had in a shed. I had probably double the wood to split that they quoted me on and he was not even going to charge me additional for the extra work. They cleaned up all the brush and debris from the tree cutting so you could not even tell they had been here. I requested that they leave the brush for me to clean up and they neatly stacked it in piles for me instead of just leaving it laying about. They both worked diligently throughout the day and were friendly and polite. I woud highly recommend them for anyone who needs any work done. As I said, I wish I had more to be done as I would love to hire them to do further work for me.
