We jumped on the opportunity. Brooks arrived shortly on the same day, spent a good deal of time taking measurements and assessing our current unit and usage, and developed three replacement options (at different pricing levels) tailored for our home. He sat down and explained each replacement option, the rationale for each, and the pricing. We asked a lot of questions, which he patiently answered. We decided to replace our struggling system within a few weeks. Brooks remained engaged and responsive to our questions in the interim, and a McCrea team, led by Logan arrived on the appointed day to replace the entire system. The team was professional, courteous, and efficient, replacing the system in a few short hours, and kept us apprised of developments. When the installation was done, Logan walked us through each system, their respective manuals and documentation, and our new touchscreen user interface for the entire HVAC. Our family has had the new HVAC system for a few weeks now, and it functions beautifully. Our home's temperature and humidity is much more comfortable, and the system is quieter, easier to use, and less expensive to operate. We have had a service contract with McCrea for about eight years--since our last home--and will continue to have one with them. They are super reliable and professional. Highly recommended."

"Superior experience from the Service Representative (Ken Q) on down to the Installations Technicians. Ken spent time looking at the A/C unit. We reviewed and he explained in detail why we had to modify the configuration of the unit, what the unit required to replace, costing, and when it could be completed. When Ken left we had a thorough and complete understanding of what our unit required to keep my family cool on these hot summer days. We received follow up calls asking if we had any questions with our price quote, if questions about the Company, technicians, warranty and the type of unit. "Fox Trail Electric provided us with excellent professional diagnostics and service. Our pool pump disconnect blew when we opened our pool, and we contacted three companies for repair estimates. Not only was Fox Trail the best estimate, Brendan and Moses very quickly found the source of the problems that the other two companies missed; this gave us immediate confidence in their capabilities. They arrived just before the appointment time for the repair and quickly got to work. They encountered and diagnosed a quirk with the pool equipment being wired from separate meter services (main house and outbuilding) and installed the correct GFCI breaker for the wiring to the pool heater, which our home warranty company failed to resolve. They installed a mounting post and weather-resistant timer and disconnect for the pool pump and organized and buried the previously messy, tangled, above-ground equipment ground wires that are no longer a tripping hazard. Brendan and Moses worked very well together and were very neat - nothing out of place when they left. Top-notch problem-solving, and we will be calling them again for other work.
