"Our roof was supposed to last 30 years but, because of hurracanes and all our trees eventually coming down it was damaged and the company we'd used did an inadequate job repairing it. We also got more damage later from more storms and BMF showed up right on time. Isaac and his crew fixed that and after 3 other estimates we decided to replace the whole roof though it was only 20 years old. Again, BMF came to our rescue with a reasonable estimate and shortly thereafter reroofed our house and garage, using new shingles able to withstand high winds, also straightening up a problem with leakage around part of our gutter system that had become apparent in the last few years during heavy downpours. They knocked the job out in two days, cleaned up all the debris and couldn't have been more professional. I believe this time we finally found a contractor who did it right and we won't be fooling around with random leaks or tiles blowing off when the hurracanes, hailstorms or falling branches come again as they surely will. Thanks to Issac, Monty and the rest of the BMF crew, we finally have peace of mind at a reasonable cost. I highly reccomend this company, for repairs or replacement, they did a swell job."

"So on a scale of 1 to 10, Dana gets a 15. He swooped in and saved the day on a bathroom remodel that was supposed to be a simple retiling project, but ended up becoming *A*WHOLE*BIG*THING once we discovered rotted joists, walls at absurd angles, and some general insanity caused by a terrible previous remodel. At every step of the way, he showed me exactly what the issues were and talked through all the options, and was always incredibly conscious of time and budget. The man worked weekends, the day after Thanksgiving, the day after Christmas, just to get me finished sooner since he knew we were out of our main bathroom and had no other tub for our 1 year old. He had great suggestions for drastically improving the look of the room with simple additions to trim and other small, affordable aesthetic suggestions. He's an absolute craftsman. It's so hard to find "the guy"-- you know, "the guy" you call for any issue, know he'll handle it fantastically, honestly and for a great price. He does big projects, handy work, anything-- and if it's something he can't do for some reason, he'll be straight with you right away. I would trust him on any/all projects in the future, he's a gem. Also, my dog and baby love him, for what it's worth :)"

"Tan the Handyman just redid my deck which was in total distress. They offered suggestions on how to salvage some of the old deck joists and railings saving me $$. The crew was efficient and explained everything they were doing. Felt totally at ease and the job was done at a good price point. My second experience with this group and still very pleased."

"Alan's crew laid a sidewalk for me in May 2018. I posted a very good review then, as I was very pleased with the work. However, there are some problems with the sidewalk now. After only a year, one of the control joints has cracked all the way accross and to the ground. In talking with Alan, he tells me this is normal. I do not think he understands what I was describing, as I have since learned it is not normal, and even the 20 year old sidewalks in my neighborhood have control joints that are not cracked. My issue is that he does not return my calls. It took three days to get an answer in person, after leaving several messages. He said it would come by and look at the sidewalk - that was a week ago. I have since left three more messages and he has not returned my call or text message. I do know he lost the employee who did such a good job a year ago. I recommended Alan to a friend who was not satisfied with the work, which was clearly not up to the standards of mine. This was after he lost the worker who did such a good job for me. I notice there has not been a review posted since then. I would not recommend Alan based on his unprofessionalism to even respond to an inquiry about a problem."

"Overall Mr. Barnes did a great job- initially calling me and scheduling estimate immediately. There were a couple of times that he said he would be by to work on/demo the house and did not come as planned. However he contacted me usually that evening to let me know that his day had just been too busy to make it over. I was not in a major rush to have work done, which worked out well for his schedule. I do wish he would have used a painter's cloth/tape or tarp down on my front porch while painting, several splotches of paint were left on the porch as well as brick. This is not too big of a deal, I can get this out , but this is why I rated a B on professionalism. His quality of work is excellent and prices very reasonable. Overall I would and will reccomend/use his services again!
