"I give them an "A" for responsiveness and professionalism. Their pricing structure is hourly based vs. project based, so it is difficult to compare them if you are gathering multiple estimates. This was not a good fit for me for this particular job. Estimates are not free. I would consider them for smaller jobs that I do not have time for."

He accurately guessed the age of our house in 5 minutes- from the outside- and knew it was built from reclaimed materials from a glance at the boards in the walls. "G R Scantling Drywall & Framing were very responsive from the start, calling me weekly to check on the status of my project to schedule the hangers as quickly as possible. They set up the drywall order for me, which I called in to completed (their supplier saved me about $40 over Lowes for XP Purple board). The job was completed in two days (one day hanging, one day tape and mud), was done professionally and well. Super nice guys to boot. Would not think about using anyone for drywall in this area."
