John and his incredible team swept in and transformed it from a grassy dump to a cozy masterpiece beckoning family and friends to stop by as it hosts the next big gathering to enchant them with its newfound charm. It's got soul! I cannot be more pleased by its total resurrection. Some background before the project: The backyard was a hot mess. My fiancé weighs around 270 pounds - the landing and steps leading to the backyard caved inwards and were one of his footsteps away from crashing down altogether. The fence was completely rotted and the gate's handle broken off: slabs of old wood were drilled in place to keep it closed. Grass and weeds competed to fill in the space within, yet it felt empty and void. It needed reviving. I was embarrassed to have family or friends spend any time out there yet dreamed of its potential to become an amazing separate entertaining space I was proud of. I didn't have the vision on how to get it there. Moore Designs and Outdoor Living provided the vision and made the dream a reality. Fast forward to the planning: I ask a barrage of questions and am indecisive - two things that can drive a company mad. Not this one! John is incredibly knowledgeable and extremely patient, friendly, easygoing, and kind. He is always a text or phone call away to provide stellar service and is a man of his word: if he said he would be at our house at a certain time or would call/text us, he did that. He never left us guessing about anything which earned our trust. Once he surveyed the house and provided us with multiple options on what we could do, we decided on a patio. The patio would encompass the entire backyard to allow for low maintenance and high fun. My indecisiveness reared its ugly head when it was time to choose paver colors. John walked me through all the choices I was thinking about and encouraged me to trust myself. I already knew I had made the right choice in choosing this company, and I now felt confident I made the right choice in materials. The crew sent to complete the jobs were awe-inspiring: if there is a definition for efficient, it is them. They arrived first-thing in the morning for each job. The steps were done the previous week and are gorgeous! No crashing here! The next crew knocked our patio and fence/gate out in two days! We had taken some before photos, and I could not believe the difference. Our new backyard looked like it belonged in a magazine's best outdoor spaces. Pinterest would be proud! The work is flawless - coming from a perfectionist (another one of my qualities), that speaks volumes! The attention to detail in how each paver was carefully placed was immaculate, the pattern design strikingly beautiful. And they left behind NO MESSES, only their breathtaking work that is now our backyard! Moore Designs and Outdoor Living not only provided us with a tremendous outdoor space, they also gave us the gift of pride in and love for our home. That's priceless. "Very impressed with this group. The estimator was knowledgeable and gave a very fair price, half as much as another estimate. The carpenter was skilled, neat, and communicated well, cared about our satisfaction. The scheduler is friendly and very good at reminders when they are coming. They replaced several sections of paneling in the basement and reattached the old trim which was tricky, matched and provided the panels, They even returned to fix something my husband had installed wrong. Highest recommendation of any outfit I've worked with."

"We are very pleased with the work that Atlantic did for us.  We originally worked with Zeth on the design and cost estimates.  Our project manager was Arran and we worked with him through out the project.  The crew who built the deck were excellent and their work professional and on time. The stone patio crew was also very good and the owner Mike was very responsive to the change orders we requested during the construction.  There were a few issues which were handled quickly and efficiently.
Despite some challenging weather the project was completed within the time frame promised.  We were very pleased with the service we received from Zeth ,Arran and their crews.

"Highly recommend this company! We hired them twice this year for two different projects. On both occasions, we received OUTSTANDING service! They built our custom wet bar, finished a portion of our basement and installed an infrared sauna. We get compliments on our basement everything we entertain. The attention to detail and craftsmanship is just marvelous. The owner and his crew are very professional. They kept us informed every day on the progress and next steps. On time and very neat. We even hired them for some handyman projects such as installing a ceiling lamp and installing a TV. We will continue to use them for all our household renovations and repairs. "Rick was great. He listened to what we wanted and showed us many alternatives which he had built before. But he didn't try to press us with his ideas. He recommended a stamped concrete patio instead of a lower deck (which we initially wanted) to save us money.  It turned out to be a great add to our back yard. I was going for a more expensive decking for the deck. He recommended a less expensive alternative and we are very happy with it. When the crew was putting the stairs from the deck to the patio, we saw that we didn't like the position of the stairs and asked him to change it. There was no arguing; he went ahead and changed the position of the stairs. Rick was very sensitive to the amount of detail we wanted to be involved in with the whole project and responded to our comfort level. As we worked the design of the patio, he had excellent ideas for making it fit into nature -- we have a lot of trees in our back yard. He also worked a severe drainage problem that we have by building two stone walls that fit perfectly into the landscape while channeling the water. His objective was to make sure we were happy with what was done, and we are very happy with the whole project. I would hire Rick again in a heartbeat."

" Fabulous job done by the company!  Right from the start Luis Figueroa was on time for the appointment, listened to what we had to say, made valuable suggestions and assured us we'd have a beautiful screened in porch!  We interviewed 2 other companies and chose Deck Builders because of the professionalism displayed by Luis and the price point was the best!
The crew was very professional.   Showed up rain or shine!  They worked from morning until dusk and completed the project in about 3 weeks.  If we had a question Franc would answer it or find the answer for us.  All products used are top quality and we expect our screened in porch to last forever!
