"I highly recommend Deck Buddy. Our screened porch (inside and out), deck and stairs were badly in need of cleaning and resealing. We had 4 different companies out here to quote the job. Deck Buddy was by *far* the most professional of the bunch, extremely competent and moreover pleasant to work with. They came exactly on time and were able to answer all my questions and were extremely knowledgeable about the work and the products/services they would use/perform. Their bid was neither the highest nor the lowest. Their service tech spent 3 days here cleaning, repairing, and refinishing our porch and deck. It looks like new. I am so pleased. We have attempted to do this work ourselves in the past, and paid to have it done by a different company once before, but never achieved the results Deck Buddy did. I should add, that when we paid to have this work done before, it did not seem like the other company applied very much product to the wood. This time, with Deck Buddy, you can see the wood is thoroughly sealed. Also, in comparison to our earlier experience, Deck Buddy took care to cover all my plants and also the house siding to protect from overspray. (Not protecting my plants was a problem with a different powerwashing company we hired once - my hostas were shredded - you have to watch out for this). Deck Buddy was extremely careful with everything and left no mess or debris behind, the porch and deck look great, the garden is unscathed. It was a job well done. Thank you!!!!"

"Chris did a very good job bringing our deck back to the way it was when we bought the house. Very professional and knowledgeable of the issues related to deck work. We got two quotes and, though Chris was a bit more, we decided to go with him as he seems a bit more knowledgeable. Prep work was done on a Friday and the stain work was to be done the following Tuesday. Chris called at about 1200 Tuesday to say he wasn't going to be able to make it due to issues with the availability of his helper. He returned the next day, Wednesday, to complete the work and did a good job of it. Small issues were identified on the final walk thru and he quickly corrected them. Time is really the true test of the quality of the restain effort, but for now it looks very good."

"Great! Samuel did an amazing job. He and his helper cleaned windows, sills, and storms so that they absolutely sparkled. They removed all the storms to wash them, cleaned off the screens and washed the windows inside and out. They had to move furniture around here and there and did so carefully without causing damage. I work from home and they were quiet and courteous which I really appreciated so I did not lose a day of work. I was amazed they did such a good job and got it all done in one work day. The price I was quoted was right in between 2 others--one on the high end and one on the low end. I liked that Mel showed up personally to do the estimate, exactly when he said he would, demonstrated how the storms would be removed and cleaned, and told me the name of the person to expect and when he would arrive. This is a follow-up to the review that was written previously. Dave did come out personally and tried to remedy the situation with the deck being stripped only on one-half.  He did send someone out to sand out the splinters and raised grain.  They put two coats of stain on all the railings and the bottom deck.  Even though I originally asked for a semi-transparent and they had to use a semi-solid stain, the deck did turn out looking good and seems to be holding up well through the summer/fall/winter.  They even offered to come back and apply another coat in the Fall if necessary.
