Cabinet refacing involves replacing cabinets doors, drawer fronts, and molding with a wood or MDF and covering the remaining frames in a matching material in order to give the appearance of a new cabinet. We do NOT perform painting or re-staining, and we can only repair cabinets in the process of a larger refacing project. Our team of experts will ensure your kitchen or bathroom project is completed easily, efficiently, and in adherence with all safety precautions. We accept cash, check, all major credit cards, and have financing options available through Wells Fargo. Call or email now for a free in-person or virtual estimate.

"Having my cabinets refaced by The Contractors Inc was a very satisfying project. The price was reasonable, the service was great, and the results look awesome. There was even a problem with some doors that were mis-measured, which I might not have even noticed. The problem was immediately identified and quickly rectified."

"Our new pantry is wonderful. The shaker style cabinet is exactly what we wanted for our previous coat closet. Tom and his team were so thorough with the details. Communication was great and service was timely. My home was left clean at the end of each day during install. I’m already thinking of some new projects like a stop and drop for our entry."

NOLANBUILT is a Custom Cabinet and Furniture company ran by the owner and builder, Nolan Thompson. Quality and excellence in our products are the foundation of NOLANBUILT's business operations. NOLANBUILT started with my first major power tool, a 10" miter saw that I bought with a Valentine's Day gift card from my girlfriend at the time, but better known as my wife now! The first piece of furniture I built was a storage ottoman as a gift to my pastor for his anniversary. Since then my wife has been feeding the fire of my building passion by buying me more power tools and giving me gift cards towards tools. And now this small start of building items for others has turned into a passionate dream to do it for a living. Every item is carefully crafted to ensure that every customer gets exactly what they want with the quality they deserve. Custom Cabinetry and Furniture should mean that you shouldn't ever have to purchase those items again for your home. Here at NolanBuilt we pride ourselves on building with quality materials and have invested in state of the art equipment to ensure accuracy to go along with the highest quality craftsmanship. You won't regret choosing NolanBuilt, start your quote today and let everyone tell you how amazing your home looks with your decision update your cabinetry and furniture.

Cabinet Making questions, answered by experts

The standard kitchen soffit begins at least 7 feet and 1 inch above the floor. In kitchens with very high ceilings, the soffit height may be taller. Consult your kitchen remodeling contractor about the best soffit dimensions for your kitchen to ensure high-quality and visually appealing results.

No, we don’t recommend using a steam cleaner on laminate surfaces, including kitchen cabinets. Steam can affect the structure of laminate cabinets, loosening the layers and causing them to warp. However, you can deep clean your laminate cabinets using other methods, such as soap and water or a vinegar mixture.

Yes, built-in cabinets can add value to your home if they are finely crafted with high-quality wood and accessories and maintained correctly. Custom built-in cabinets can also increase your return on investment when selling. Built-ins are a popular design feature in living and dining rooms—especially in homes with minimal storage options.

Yes, likely. Most kitchen cabinets are plywood or medium-density fiberboard (MDF). Plywood is an engineered wood made by layering, pressing, and bonding thin sheets of wood veneer together. MDF is an engineered wood made by combining wood fibers with resin and wax. Both are cheaper than solid wood, but advances in the durability of MDF make it a closer alternative to the real thing.

It’s a good idea to give your cabinets a quick once-over every week. Every six months or so, you may want to double down on the elbow grease and give the exteriors a more thorough wipe down. Additionally, you'll probably need to pull out all the stops once a year to really deep clean the interior. If you’re not too keen on the idea of cleaning your own kitchen cabinets, you can always hire a house cleaner near you to tackle it for you. They’ll have the expertise to make sure every cabinet is spotless.
