They are an incredibly professional organization. They are prompt, hard-working, and competitive on price. The team worked from sun up until sun down. The result is a beautiful roof that was done in a timely fashion with no surprises. I highly recommend Jacob's Ladder and consider them best in class. I have also used them for painting before and would have the same thoughts.

Not well. I requested a quote. I got a call back but wasn't able to answer. They left a voicemail telling me to call another number. I called & had to leave a message. That was it. No one ever called back. This surprised me since I got an estimate about a year ago to put siding on my house. They did the job & I was happy. This time I didn't get the same person to call me back & no work done. I guess the company must have been sold or under new management. So that's why I'm not using them now & couldn't really recommend them.

Terrible. Was difficult to make initial contact, Failed to follow up with an estimate, was again difficult to reach, when finally received an estimate it was outrageously overpriced and failed to properly address my needs.

I left a voicemail to schedule an estimate and received a return call within 20 minutes. After explaining what the siding issue was Justin explained that this job would be less then their minimum charge so he gave me two referrals. Justin could have just said that they can't do the job but we really appreciated his help with the referrals. Thank you for going a step beyond Justin!

I hired Jacob's Ladder to repair and replace wood siding on my house, including repainting the replaced siding. The entire job went exactly as it should. I would hire the company again.

Wow, I can not say enough great things about Justin, Reagan, Johnnie and their crews! When I responded to the initial quote regarding their time frame, I started with "in a perfect world" then proceeded to ask for a quick turn around that I thought would be impossible to meet. Justin made my world perfect and even with a week to spare-thank you Justin! Everyone was quick to respond to my needs, all of the crews (Painters, carpenter, and roofers) were extremely professional and skilled at their jobs. Justin responded to all of my emails promptly, Reagan stayed on top of the schedules and Johnnie was great helping me decide on a final color. Thank you Jacob's Ladder for a beautiful job-we love our home!

It went very well. They came when they said, did what they were suppose to do, cleaned up really nice, & charged us the best price of any of the estimates that I got. Justin worked with us from estimate until finished. If I had any problems or questions, I could call or email him & get a response by at least the next day. The crew were really thoughtful & hard working. I think they had to stay late one day to make sure they finished on time. They not only put up the new siding, but they tore off all of the old siding, wrapped the house again, & put up new insulation board. We were very pleased with how well it went & how great Jacobs Ladder handled things.

They were a good balance of friendly and professional. If I had a question, they were available to answer it. Rain delays were a concern, but the painters were willing to work on Saturday. Will definitely recommend this company to family and friends.

Jacob's Ladder was amazing to work with! Communicative, considerate, responsive - excellent coordination of all aspects of the job from quote, materials delivery, rubbish container placement, keeping the work site and yard tidy every day, cleaning up at the end of the job. Very considerate of the neighborhood in general. And the craftsmanship is fabulous! Victor and his crew were great to have working on the house. Justin was an excellent sales contact and project manager. We would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again.

Initially we were extremely happy with how the work went. We had to address a few things such as Coke cans being left around the job site. Two years later we are starting to notice issues with the work such as chipping around the wood. I emailed the company regarding this and they believed we had carpenter bee damage. I called a pest control company we had used before to look at the potential damage and he found no signs of carpenter bee damage.
I explained to the owner that the pest control company did not find any signs of carpenter bee damage and we went back and fourth via email about it. It really seemed like he didn't want to rectify the situation. The owner told me that the warranty doesn't cover damage such as carpenter bees, which we had already had been told by a pest control company that we didn't have any carpenter bees. The owner insisted that they could have came back out and that their warranty doesn't cover animal damage. Nothing in the contract says anything about this and he had referenced past work they had fixed under the contract as fixing something with no charge.

"Dear Customer, We apologize that your are dealing with this situation. We gladly stand behind any and all of our work; however, there are some items that are not covered as they fall outside of our control. Since we were asked to not replace the wood fascia boards on the home in 2015, we cannot return to repair animal damage at no additional cost. When we first saw the pictures of the repair, we thought it was carpenter bee damage but after a site visit it appears as if the upper rake board has woodpecker damage and the lower rake board has significant scratches that appear as if a squirrel is chewing on the wood. We can gladly return to the job and replace the fascia with Cement fiber or aluminum clad which is not "animal friendly", but since you are requesting the fascia to remain wood, we cannot guarantee to keep animals of any kinds away. Was a great experience. Reagan came out and did a detailed estimate then contacted me to schedule the work. Pressure washed the enire exterior before painting. Crew showed up on time every day and were very professional, polite, and did good work. After each day, I went over the work that had been done and made up a punch list which the crew took care of the next day. The crew chief and Reagan did everything possible to ensure that I was a satisfied customer...and I surely am! The house looks great. Great company, excellent people, first-class results.

We were so pleased with the work done by Jacob's Ladder! They were so professional. They communicated with me to let me know exactly when they would start. The painters were here every day. There were times when 6-8 painters were here at once. They worked from 7:30 am until 6:00 pm. The painters were so willing to go the extra mile to make sure I was happy with the painting results. Their attention to detail was fantastic! Our house looks so good. I won't hesitate to call them again when we need either siding repair or painting done!

I can commend him for being a worker who is not only willing, but able to fix a window latch, swap an electrical outlet, and clean behind a refrigerator. Seems like a rather odd task. Justin Pittman, Project Manager with Jacob's Ladder came to our home and talked to us at our kitchen table about their services and products. He walked around our home, listened to our concerns and what we wanted and shared ideas. He came back with a detailed estimate that was in the ballpark cost of what we expected. We hired Jacob's Ladder because of the professionalism of Justin Pittman and our belief that he would get the work that we needed done. We are thrilled with the finished product! The house looks like a new house. The 29 new windows are gleaming and every one of them works! Anyone that has lived in a home with some age can appreciate that! The siding crew leader, Victor was excellent. He and his men measured and installed all of the Hardie plank siding on our home and detached garage and resrceened our porch adding pvc strips. All of the work done was an upgrade from what we had and now our home is mostly maintenance free. There was not alot of painting, just high trim and porch. Rinaldo and his crew did a great job on the painting. Did I tell you that all of the work was completed in 3 weeks! Once they started, the crews did not leave until their part was finished and then the next crew came. Justin oversaw the whole project and communicated with us whenever needed. There were a few issues to resolve and a few boards to replace, areas to repaint, but with any large job this is expected. Justin worked with the crew managers and made sure everything was completed to our satisfaction.We couldn't be happier and highly recommend this company.

Started ahead of schedule and finished on time. Great attention to detail, beautiful work and easy to work with. Justin is very responsive and has been a pleasure to work with from quote to completion. Victor and his crew did a great job cleaning up every night and worked with us to answer questions and make sure we were happy. We have gotten lots of compliments from our neighbors on how great the house looks!

We had been pricing siding replacement for the last two years, and the best price we received was from Jacob's Ladder. We had previously replaced numerous boards fiber boards at the foundation all around and splash areas around our front and back porches ourselves over the last 15 years, but the west side was only saved by an exceptional paint job about 9 years ago by another Angie's List A rated painter. Following a screened porch enclosure and kitchen remodel by another Angie's list A rated contractor this summer, we decided to replace the west side and north side where the remodel occurred, and got an updated quote from Jacob's Ladder. They were several thousand less expensive than our next lowest "old" quote, and we were impressed with their quality of work on other local jobs, as well as excellent reviews from Angie's. The entire process was smooth and without any issues. We were kept up to date with material and equipment deliveries, and work started and finished in the scheduled week. Justin kept us informed as the start of work approached, visited the job during installation, and followed up immediately following completion to see if we were pleased, had any issues or questions, and to schedule remaining material pickup and dumpster removal. The crew kept the site clean and picked up daily, arrived promptly each day, we're courteous and answered any questions we had during the process. Since we were only doing two of the 4 sides of our home, Justin discussed the transition points between old and new work, helped us pick the best option to handle them until we're ready to proceed. They will be our choice for the remainder of the work on the east and south sides, and our first contact for any repair, painting or exterior remodeling we need in the future.

It was great! We had Justin's crew here last summer for our vinyl siding, and it was lovely to have them back. The work was done in a day and looks gorgeous. The best recommendation is in my mind coming back for more, and we know we will when it is time to replace our windows.
