"I called Davidson Roofing and described my 3 issues that needed repair.  The office manager told me she would have one of the technicians call me back.  The technician called and I again described my issues.  He told me he would call by the end of the day with an estimate.  By the next day around noon I hadn't heard anything so I called the technician.  He told me that for the bird issue, he needed to have another person at the company look at this as this was beyond his expertise.  He told me they were going to look at it that afternoon and he would call me with the estimate by the end of the day.
Well this time, the technician did actually call me with the estimate when he said he would.  I had agreed with my husband that if the estimate came in at $500 or less we should just go ahead with it.  Otherwise, we'd need to think about it.  The estimate came in at $900 so my husband and I discussed it that evening.  With a piece of flashing hanging over his car like a sword, he thought we just should move forward with the work.  It seemed a little expensive to him, but he wanted the work done.
I called back the technician the next morning and said we would go forward with the work.  He told me that the work could be completed the following day.  The work to correct the 3 issues was done on time as promised.  We discoveed when we got home that Davidson Roofing had also rehung 2 shutters that had fallen down in the storm.  When we got the bill for the work, the shutters had been added as a work item and the price was raised by $50 to $950 for doing that extra work.  We were glad to have the shutters taken care of.  That saved me from having to find a handyman to do this work.  We are pleased with Davidson Roofing and will call them if we need more roofing repairs."
