"We had the reverse osmosis put in for our drinking water. Then we had the whole house filtration system put in. Justin and Charlie tested our water for free and gave us the results. They were great in explaining everything about the water systems. We made an appointment to have the installation of everything done the next week. "jLarry was prompt, responsive, professional, and honest. We had to replace our 16 year-old water heater. He had a preferred brand that would have been easier for him to acquire, but was honest and flexible when we decided to go with another brand we thought was a better choice based on our own research. He was able to get the water heater we wanted with only a few days' notice. He was also honest with us about what would/wouldn't be possible for him to do, even though it meant the job would be less lucrative for him. We were considering replacing the diverter cartridge in one of our showers which had begun to leak hot water from the bathtub faucet when the shower was running. He was up front with us right away that he couldn't do the job without embarking on an expensive rebuild of the valve & fixture (the screw to access the diverter cartridge was completely rusted and wouldn't budge -- its been in place since the late 70s when the house was built). We would definitely use his services again.

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
