The job included designing/redoing our frontyard bed, installing downspouts, building a 330 square foot backyard patio bordered by a dry creek, installing natural stone steps leading up to the patio, and designing/executing new backyard landscape beds. Our backyard - which is on a slope and not a huge space to begin with - looks out onto a shared driveway. Given that, my wife and I struggled with how to create a sense of privacy in our backyard without having a fence installed. Of all the professionals we met with initially, Ben, our Project Manager and Connor, who did a lot of the design work, had the clearest vision of how to get it done. Both were mindful and in tune with what was important to my wife and I. Both were creative in working within the parameters of our space to deliver what is in my opinion, the very best job that anyone could have done. Big credit to the the teams that came out and did the work as well, Cheto included. The results are stunning and my wife and I couldn’t be happier

"Brian and his crew were absolutely incredible. We just moved into a home in Takoma Park, MD and our front and back yard were in need of some major work. The backyard was a complete jungle. It was extremely overgrown with weeds, brush, poison ivy, and dead/unattractive trees. Brian's crew manually dug out everything and removed all of the dead trees as well as their roots. They also cut back a ton of bamboo and then laid mulch down in the entire yard. Brian and his crew were able to start within days after getting the final quote. Brian is an extremely reasonable, knowledgable, and caring person. In addition to his landscaping knowledge, he is also a "master gardener." We had no clue about what to do next, so he offered to draw out some sketches of designs (free of charge) as well as ideas for plants and flowers that would be suitable for our particular yard. I took this sketch with me to the nursery yesterday and it was very helpful! I would highly recommend using Yard by Yard if you're searching for a landscaping company that you can trust will do a fantastic job!

"I could not be more please with Jamie and his people. They were always at my house when I expected and worked very hard while they were here. The workmen did a very nice job making a level walkway to my backyard and gazebo and installed a nice little patio out side the gazebo. My walkway leading to my front door needed to be level and they were able to make it look like new. The workmen were pleasant and eager to please and I especially appreciated how nice they cleaned up the work area at the end of each day. Jamie was here everyday to inspect the work and address any concerns that we may have had. I would enthusiastically recommend this company for any of your landscape needs. In fact they will be helping us out again once the growing season begins.

"Ricky is a nice and friendly person, easy to deal with - he quickly found time to come over, agreed to to do the work on short notice, was easy to reach, and was flexible about changing the date when we needed to do that. His price estimate was competitive and reasonable. (One company I called doesn’t even bid for jobs under $7,000.) But the main reason I’m writing this review is his quality of work. His team did an incredible job, with care and attention to detail. They were on time, very friendly and polite, and skilled craftsmen. When finished, they cleaned up carefully. One more point to mention. When we got to the invoice, we found that we didn’t get charged for several minor changes that came up during the work. Instead, Ricky stuck to our agreement and even rebated us (without being reminded) for a shrub that we decided we didn’t need. That to me shows honesty and integrity. We got really lucky by finding Ricky and his company. I can’t recommend them enough!

"Edwin and his team of 7 workers were fantastic. Completely remove old yard grass and dirt all by hand (and hauled away), added topsoil, leveled/graded new soil, and installed new freshly cut sod from that morning. New yard looks fantastic. Was truly impressed they completed entire project in just under four hours. Completely and thoroughly cleaned street and work area upon completion of job. Additionally, Edwin called me back within 4 hours of my request on Angi on the weekend and came out first thing Monday to provide an estimate. Requested two other estimates, one never contacted me, and other could not come for another week. Speed and professionalism on all ends of the transaction were outstanding.
