Wonderful company to work with, from start to finish. My front yard, which was very small, was transformed into a thing of beauty. The concrete was replaced by flagstone, which was skillfully, artistically cut and places. The new plants were a variety of compact, healthy shrubs…and are thriving! The teams who came out worked together seamlessly, and always on time. Started early, too—before 8 am. The price was very reasonable. Jose the owner came out to give me the estimate and was so nice. Knowledgeable, professional. He came out again at the start of the project, and at the end. Everyone I dealt with at the office through emails about schedules, questions, payments—-equally efficient and nice. Highly recommend JZL Landscaping Services. I’m thrilled with how stunning my new front yard looks, thanks to them.

Very happy with the results!! Our yard needed a lot of help. We inherited a yard with bamboo, vines, and weeds. Just overrun! JZL came out, gave us a fair estimate, and more than delivered. I appreciated the knowledge and insight Jose had when chatting about what would be best for us. They even managed to save our tree!

We wanted to add a backyard stone path to connect garden areas and to remove an old wood pile and in its place add new plantings. The path is constructed with pavers and river rock. The workmanship is outstanding and will last for a very long time. The new garden is a welcome addition. The team is very skillful and attentive to detail. We give JZL Landscaping our unqualified endorsement.

They were just great,trimming bushes that.had grown for two years and cut back trees and weeds.that were growing out of control. I thought their pricing was very reasonable land their skill level was wonderful

They spent twelve hours removing a wall of bamboo from my yard including removing roots and grinding to try to minimize its return. The crew did a thorough and excellent job and cleaned up and removed all debris. The responsiveness to my request for an estimate and the timeliness in scheduling one and receiving one was quick. Other companies I looked into either did not do bamboo removal, clearly did not know what was involved or did not get back to me in a timely fashion. I was very glad that JZL Landscaping did because they did an excellent job and I am now going to use them to re-landscape the area where the bamboo was. If you need bamboo removal, you must use this company.

They were very professional, easy to work and communicate with, flexible, and accommodating. Their work quality was excellent and they did more than expected. They saw some drainage problems and took the initiative to fix the problems as part of the job. I was very impressed! I would definitely recommend them!

We just have to give a shout out about the amazing JZL Landscaping crew that worked (all day - in 95+ heat) on our yard. They pruned our tree, removed old mulch, put down fresh mulch everywhere even in all of my flower pots. They put down a truck full of river rock and cleaned everything. They have a great eye for detail, are professional, meticulous and some of the hardest working people we have ever met. We highly recommend them (and we are very particular).

The project was a stone patio and walkway and front yard landscaping. Everyone was very professional and courteous. Jose met with me a couple of times to discuss the plan and I exchanged a number of emails with the the office. Once we agreed on the plan, the project began the next day. The crew was great and cleaned up every day. The work was finished in the time promised and I'm happy with the finished product.

We were very impressed with the beautiful results we got from Jose and crew. They built 2 stone walls, a dry river bed, and a stone walkway with pad for trash cans. In addition they installed underground drainage, leveled and sodded our side yard. The results are lovely...they are true craftsmen. The price was fair and they were a delight to work with. I am a very satisfied repeat customer of JZL Landscaping Services. They provided landscaping services for me and installed a stone patio for my Reston townhouse. José and his crew are courteous, skilled professionals who were able to devise workable solutions adapted to my budget. They submitted a written, detailed estimate of the costs. The construction crew arrived early and completed the patio within one day. The landscaping crew followed early the next day and both crews did an excellent job removing all debris and cleaning up my property before leaving each day. José followed up in person to survey the completed work, to inquire if I was pleased with the results, and to answer questions about care and maintenance. I highly recommend this company. They are a pleasure to work with.
