If you have used Hercules & Sons you will already know what meticulous care and high quality work that is provided by Jose and his crew for any garden need. What you may not know is that Jose also has the eye of an artist! Our recent garden 'makeover' involved artistically positioning rocks among a variety of plantings, something I would normally do completely on my own. At the end of a long day (32 new plantings!) before I could approach the task of positioning those rocks, Jose surprised me and had already done the job - and it was so beautifully arranged that I would not change a thing!! It is rare, indeed, to find such artistic talent combined with superb understanding and care of plants. Any garden would welcome care by Jose and his hard-working, and equally meticulous crew!!!

Hercules and Sons did a fabulous job cleaning up our yard by removing weeds and freshening our mulch. They also did a great job on our backyard as well. Our garden is a very difficult challenge, being 70% on sharply declining hillside - no lawn, only bushes/flowers. Because of pathways winding throughout, mulch had to be carefully distributed. Our many trees required complete removal of a huge volume of leaves/acorns. Jose and crew did a spectacular job removing a full truckload of leaves/acorns and then mulched difficult areas with meticulous care to preserve the pathways and also provide edging in available areas to retain the mulch and keep it from being washed away. It was a most refreshing experience to work with Jose/Sonia whose responsiveness, reliability and punctuality made this challenging task a pleasure. They and their crew clearly take very personal pride in the quality of the work they perform - which is absolute excellence!! We look forward to working with them in the future and most highly recommend them! Our garden is now nothing short of GORGEOUS!!

I called Hercules & Sons who provided a fast quote and took care of the leaves the next day. They also do landscaping and lawn maintenance! Greetings, I recently hired Hercules and Son 2 weeks ago. I am overseas working, but my home insurance contacted my family saying that certain things needed to be fixed or else our homeowners insurance was at risk of not being renewed.Therefore, from overseas, I did research to find a tree cutting company. I called Hercules and son, and they went to the house in Woodbridge VA to analyze the situation and give an estimate. I need a tree removed, and branches cut from a second tree. They kept in contact with me via Whatsapp, very attentive. When I arrived in the US, I told them, and they changed their schedule around to meet my needs. Jose, the manager/owner, came out to the house with a crew of two other young men, and they were SO KIND. Jose is very very kind and respectful.But most of all, he is gentle and kind. When someone is cutting trees that are over 30 feet tall, you need someone who is gentle and kind to answer all of your questions. Also, the manager handling all the communication is equally kind and respectful. Not only did Jose and the team cut down the tree, and the branches on the other tree, BUT he also trimmed at least 5 more bushes around the house, which were never part of the original quote. He did it because he is kind and has compassion. Lastly, This company, Hercules and Son, picked up EVERY single branch that fell during their trimming/cutting, leaving the grounds spotless. This company is 100% professional. I have never had tree cutting service performed at my house, so I was very nervous. However, this company was amazing and if you need tree cutting services, go with this brand. I had actually tried calling another company and they went to the house,but they never contacted me afterwards. Hercules and Son are VERY attentive, kind, and professional. They also have the required insurance needed for a tree company.That was one of my concerns--” what happens if the tree cutter falls or something happens”.. they calmly replied that that was the reason they had insurance, for any what-ifs. Also, because I live in Kerrydale inWoodbridge, I was worried that they wouldn’t be able to get their equipment through the small backyard gate, but they were just fine, they are able to navigate any situation. I am 100% satisfied with the work they performed, and I will definitely use them in the future, as well as recommend them to anyone in the DMV area who needs not just tree cutting, but landscaping /bush trimming service as well.

We’ve been very happy with Hercules. They are super responsive and have great customer service. They are quite thorough. We have them do hand weeding, mulching, landscaping, planting, leaf collection, shaping bushes, and basically anything outside. We are very happy with them and have been using them for the past year.

Jose and his team have been servicing our lawn for a couple of years now and they do an amazing job. We use them for weekly mowing and monthly weeding, but also for mulch, seeding and aeration, and leaf removal. Everything is always top notch. They work unbelievably quickly, and are always professional and helpful with anything I’ve asked of them. They even turned one of my garden boxes into a sandbox for my children! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking. Pricing is always competitive!
