"Justin came by to evaluate the job on a Saturday morning after missing our initially scheduled meeting, getting hung up on another project.  He was pleasant and knowledgeable about what was needed to complete the job.  He promised an estimate by Monday and followed through on that promise.  He was able to work us in within a couple of days later.  He and his two man crew hung the drywall in a single day, working around garage door openers support brackets and other unique cuts.  I was impressed when he pointed out that he had marked the multiple drain pipe cleanouts and valves buried behind the drywall for future reference.  The gentleman he sent the following morning completed the mud and tape work.  My only critique would be that he seemed to rush to finish and the work done in the later part of the morning did not match the quality of his work early on and it will require some touch up work on my part.  However, I was very pleased overall with the quality of the work, the professionalism of the workmen and the great attitude displayed by everyone.  I would not hesitate to hire Adam Contracting again.

"Steve and his crew -- Shawn and Bruce -- did an exceptional job remodeling my kitchen. I had my original 1994 oak cabinets and builder-grade floor/countertops/sink replaced with quartz counters and porcelain tile floor and the cabinets were refaced with new color and doors. I am very happy with the quality of the work and how the remodel changed the entire look of my kitchen. The crew was very professional and meticulous in finishing all work."

"Mr. Munoz was very professional from the beginning since we started to look at the possibilities of building a new garage to the end of the completion . We have started on the winter time which makes things a little more difficult but there was a precise time . the permits.the plans .preparation of the grounds. Very proactive and very accessible on the building of every single part and detail of the project,he was always there the confection of the garage floor and everything else. He has a very good group of employees that are very nice and always cleaning everything at the end of the day which is very important in order to go on with the normal activities of your household.! Other things that are to comment are that he is behind his work 100%. And prompt response. "So please that I went with JW. The side entry porch had rotted wood throughout and the steps were sagging. Also, exterior house paint had been removed years ago but prior owners did not address one side of house, probably cause it was hidden behind crepe myrtles. Crepe myrtles are now gone and that wall is very visible on the street. Also there were some little jobs needed around the house such as replacing rotted boards above the garage. Got a quote from JW in late April and scheduled the work for the week of July 21 for 6-7 days of work. Two workers showed up promptly on the 21st and did a great job. Very pleased with the JW crew as they kept me posted on the progress throughout the job which was completed in six days. Wish I could post before and after pictures as it looks fantastic"

"We chose VKB mainly on its reviews on this website. Overall the experience was very positive. We were pleased to learn that VBK did not charge a fee upfront to design the kitchen. Calvin (kitchen designer) made excellent suggestions to improve our original vision and was responsive to changes to the design. Calvin convinced us to choose wood floor and crown molding, and the type of range hood, and he was right on all counts! Because of the smooth design process with Calvin and reasonable price, we decided to sign on with VBK over other companies. The implementation phase had some bumps: the design drawings that Jason (project manager) and Ismar (crew leader) started with were not the updated version, but thankfully that was quickly rectified. In addition there were some misunderstanding on the scope of the painting area, but Calvin agreed to honor what we had discussed verbally, even though it was not spelled out in the contract. Jason listened and patiently explained the project process, and kept asking to make sure that we were happy with the progress. For example, he agreed to redo the placement of the undercabinet lights. He also accommodated our desire to donate our old cabinets to Habitat for Humanity, and Ismar and his crew carefully took the down the cabinets and stored them in our garage for pickup later in the week. Ismar, Luis, and the rest of the crew did a fantastic job installing and painting everything, and their experience showed in disguising the fact that our walls were not straight and the floor was not even. We were also impressed with the laser tools that they used to guide cabinet and light placements. The crew was careful, meticulous, and respectful, and they cleaned up throughly every day. There were other crews handling the flooring and countertops, who also did top notch work, and all were coordinated like clockwork by Jason. Along the way, we learned some lessons and offer the following advice: if you are particular about the placement of your celling lights, electrical outlets and switches, let the crew know, and they will do their best to accommodate. Also, pay attention to every single detail in the contract; if not specified, there can be a misunderstanding, and a deviation may require a change order and extra expense. Overall, we were extremely pleased with the excellent quality of the work, and even though there was a delay in the backsplash order, the job finished as projected. We definitely recommend VKB, and we love our new kitchen. Jason -- we are happy!"

"We had All Renovations add a garage to the side of our house and it was an overall great experience! The new garage required moving utility lines, sump pump pipe, cables, re-routing vents and extending back into some space in our yard. We also had new gutters installed all around the house and the garage itself was fully insulated with an extra space in the back for a gym area. We had never done a big extension like this and the team provided great support, info and managed a complex project with ease. Mir provided great support with estimates and addresses all our questions and change requests with patience and friendliness, Jim provided prompt updates on the timeline and always kept us looped into the next step, while Tony led the work on site with efficiency and was always willing to show us what he was doing and ask questions as needed to ensure things were done right. While it took several months to get things done in the right order (permit approvals, inspections at different stages, coordination with the power company and waiting for things to come in), we never felt frustrated because we knew what was in motion at any given time.
