"On one of the hottest days of northern Virginia summer of 2019, James and his crew installed my pool with professionalism and determination to get it up so that we had it to enjoy for the upcoming hottest weekend ahead. So looking forward to coming home from work and cooling off! I now have three very happy grandchildren. Very pretty pool. Also we already had an established pool area, with all the sand etc, so since they didnâ t have to prepare the area with sand, James finished with mulch. We always want things for less money, so that is the only reason for 4 1/2 stars."

"I'd previously asked Backyard Ponds to clean and net my ponds the last week in September. I called the Friday before to find out when they could come, and they agreed to send their workers on Monday. They team arrived on time. They were pleasant and professional I walked them through what I wanted them to do. It was a complicated job; there were three ponds, and each pond required different care. The team went to work right away. They spent most of the day on the effort, breaking only for lunch. When they were done, I inspected the ponds. The only thing I had to ask them to do was put a net over the waterfall on one of the ponds. The fish they handled were in good condition after the cleaning. The workers left no debris on the job site. The company sent the bill in a timely manner, listing labor and materials so I would understand the charges. I would happily use them again!"

"Jay and Kyle were outstanding! They arrived on time and provided a variety of options for the job. We had an old lamp post that was not grounded out front that produced a healthy shock if you touched it. The previous owners installed it improperly and it would have required a "thumper" to discover exactly where it connected to the house. Jay and Kyle offered a more affordable option--to simply cut off the wire and wrap it so we could remove the eyesore. Even though it was the end of the day, they went above and beyond to provide top-notch, friendly service. They even dug the lamp post out of the ground for me!

"They were fast, efficient, and CLEAN. Very professional. Work was really well done- biggest problem is that the part of the ceiling they installed is so much nicer than the part that wasn't affected by the flood. Brian and team from Walls had done a previous job- installing a ventilating fan in the ceiling of our guest bathroom where our old fan was doing a terrible job; paint was peeling because of moisture. Brian got me a much better fan and installed it- difference was amazing. The guys saw that our banister going down to the basement had come loose- and without my asking and at no charge, they repaired it. I now use them for a variety of handy man tasks. They are not cheap: as I recall, around $125 to come out - but they are fast and very good and manage to keep the price reasonable.

"Jason Miller called me the same day in response to my request on Home Advisor, and provided excellent help over the phone, at no cost. Then, he came to review the situation at our home the next day, on a Sunday afternoon. On Monday, the job (a temporary fix for the season) was completed; and, I am delighted! My husband and I struggled for 2 weeks attempting to find and figure out how to fix a leak. Other companies we contacted were too busy to be bothered and/or not helpful at all. Within 48 hours of talking to Jason, we went from a pool that was leaking terribly, shutdown, ugly and unusable, to a beautiful, clear operational pool with no leaking! I am so happy! The guys he sent to do the work were great; and, we will continue to use Millers Pool & Spa, and recommend them to everyone for future needs. "Last fall we had our concrete pool deck restamped and colored. Since then we?ve had to tear up and repair part of our deck to replace pool pipes. Also, since then, old cracks have reappeared in other parts of the deck. V & A Concrete offered to repair cracks and caulk as needed, and paint the whole deck. The repaired portions of the deck would remain unstamped. The whole deck would be a uniform color. Their bid seemed to be high. It was over $5,000.00 and the painting would have prevented me from applying stamped concrete in the future. I would call them again if I decided to replace the whole deck, but probably not for repair to the type of deck we currently have."

"They had to fix some leaks, run some new plumbing and hang new drywall. It took them about a week to finish the project. I was happy with their work."
