Justin, the marketing rep who sold us the system, was very professional and accommodating. Justin took about an hour to demonstrate a series of tests which reflected to quality of our water which had more chlorine and hardness than we expected. If you have concerns for lead, Orbit standard demonstration does test for it so you will need to have a separate test done. After some negotiation, we were able to settle on a deal which got us the system and financing for the next 10 years. Orbit provides annual maintenance services on the machine and there is a lifetime warranty on parts which really assured us we were making an investment to improve our water. The best part about it is that the system travels with you. For a small fee, Orbit will pack the system up and ship it to your next home if you move which was a big selling point for us. Orbit also threw in a subscription to PureSelects soap for the next 10 years which was a nice add-on. PureSelects provides every kind of soap or cleaning product you could ask for so it will be nice not to have to purchase additional soap products in the near future. Within a couple days, the installation team came out to install the system. They arrived on time but the installation took a little bit longer than expected. Turns out our the installed garbage disposal was too large to fit with the RO unit tank under the sink. Orbit was very accommodating though. Orbit purchased a new garbage disposal and installed it free of charge which I bet many companies would not have done. I highly recommend getting the larger of the under sink tanks for the RO unit. Even with the two gallon tank, my family has used up all the water in the tank. A 1 gallon tank would just not have been enough. The water in our house has been incredible since we installed the system a few months ago. We noticed an immediate impact to our skin and hair after using it and our drinking water certainly tastes better. Best of all, we feel confident in the quality of the water we use throughout the house to keep us safe and our appliances in good condition. We highly recommend the investment in the water treatment systems through Orbit."

"CSI was flexible and was able to schedule a home inspector the day after I got a bid accepted on a house. The inspector, Patrick, showed up on time and the inspection took about 4 hours. Patrick was responsive to any questions I had by email or live during the inspection. My one recommendation is that I requested a pest, mold, radon, and home inspection. It would be a better heads up if they explained that they sometimes outsource the radon inspection depending on availability of radon inspectors. Also, they can explain a bit more for new home buyers what is involved with a mold inspection. Patrick ended up just eyeing whether he spotted any mold. Because he did not see any mold, we did not have to pay extra for mold samples."

As a new homeowner, I appreciated his attention to detail which pointed out several serious deficiencies missed on our home inspection. He found a rusted furnace flue, a hazard that could cause carbon monoxide poisoning, and “organic growth” in the humidifier. Additionally, he noted the buildup in our ducts that was blowing dirty air in our home. We had the duct cleaning already scheduled so we planned for his return after. After the duct cleaning, he returned and spent nearly three hours taking care of our system. In addition to the biannual maintenance, he thoroughly cleaned the humidifier, and added air scrubbers. He also commented positively on the companies that performed the recommended work. I will definitely use their services again and ask for him."

"I purchased an Angies List deal of $99 for $200 in services.  When BF carried out the estimate, I gave them two jobs to quote: a clogged drain and a leaky hose bib.  The fellow who did the estimate told me they could do both jobs for just $59 (on top of the $99 I paid for the $200 deal).  I scheduled the service based on the quote.
I was given a service window of 8 am to noon.  The BF plumber was a no show during the window.  When I called to find out what had happened, I was told he was on his way, picking up parts, would be here soon, etc.  The BF plumber finally called me an hour and a half after the window had closed to tell me he would come in another 25 minutes.  I had to go to work, so I canceled the appointment.  When I called BF to reschedule, I learned that the plumber didn't have the clogged drain on his service ticket.  When I asked to see the service ticket I learned that the price quoted for the hose bib on the ticket was the price the estimator had quoted for the two jobs (bib and drain).  To make matters worse, someone had forged my initials on the service ticket.  BF told me they would deduct 10% from the price for the inconvenience of the no-show.
To minimize cost and my future dealings with BF, I asked them to drop the bib repair and just fix the drain during the next service call.  The second plumber showed up early, which is the only reason I didn't give BF an F for punctuality.  He fixed the drain, which cost me $79, since I had already prepaid $99 for the $200 deal.  BF never mentioned the 10% adjustment, nor did they offer to refund me the unused credit on the deal.

"Ferguson Home Improvements did a fantastic job.  All the work that needed to get done, was finished beyond my expectations.  The workers were very friendly.  The job took a little longer that expected, but Ferguson Home Improvements were not at fault, the weather played a major factor with the deck stain and door installation.  At the time the work was getting done, we received a lot of rain and storms.  All in all, I would highly recommend Ferguson Home Improvements.
