"Above and beyond! Freedom pulled out every stop to source me a new ECOER unit when my HVAC failed; the least of which was driving to another state to pick one up and installing over night so I could escape 90 degree days as quickly as possible. They found ways to help beyond just repairing the unit as well - they changed my filter and even offering to carry a heavy package from the front doorstep to the back patio. They left the house in the same condition they found it, cleaned up their debris, utilized booties and tarps to keep the home safe as they worked. Thoughtful, mindful, honest and efficient. If you’re looking for HVAC guys give them all call - cannot recommend them more!"

"I was impressed with the quality of the work performed by ð ¼-1 ð ¿ð ªð ð © ð ¾ð ¡ð ð ð £ð ð £ð ð ð ð §ð «ð ð ð ð ¨ in both cleaning the HVAC and dryer ducts. As a former Army Contracting Officer's Representative, what impressed me most was the work ethic displayed by Kieth. He worked until the job was done, even staying until after 1:00 AM to make sure the work was finished correctly. I would not hesitate to hire him again."

Heating and Air Conditioning questions, answered by experts

There are many signs of a bad AC fan motor, including if the fan blades don’t spin when the AC kicks on or if they keep spinning when the AC is off. The AC fan cools down the condenser coil, so a faulty motor can also cause the system to overheat. Unusual noises in the exterior AC unit, including grinding or rattling sounds, may also be a sign that the AC fan motor is worn out.

Assessing location for airflow, convenience, and minimal noise impact.

Signs that your air conditioner capacitor is bad or failing include a range of symptoms. The AC unit may not turn on at all, or it might struggle to start before shutting down randomly or in the middle of a cooling cycle. You might hear a humming or banging noise when it attempts to start, or the compressor might hum without the unit actually running. Other indicators include a smell or smoke coming from the unit, the blower circulating room-temperature air instead of cold air, and an unexpected increase in your energy bills.

Yes, it’s best to turn off an AC unit that’s blowing hot air to prevent system damage and avoid expensive energy bills. If you let the AC continue running, it will put more strain on the condenser coil and compressor. Plus, if the AC is blowing hot air because of a refrigerant leak, it can also lead to a frozen evaporator coil.

No, it’s not normal for AC vents to drip condensation. A sweating AC vent is a sign of something wrong and can lead to issues like air duct rust or mold growth. Your HVAC unit might not be working efficiently because of a dirty filter or clogged ducts. Alternatively, your ductwork might not have adequate insulation, which allows the cool air in the ducts to meet the humid air outside, causing condensation.
