"Everything looks absolutely gorgeous! Finishing work had great attention to detail. Plumbing was corrected to make our chosen bathroom fixtures work for the space. Drywall, paint, ceilings, floors, new french door to outside, new siding and paint outside, new covered porch, all done with professional timing and attitude. They worked with us and gave helpful suggestions and even fit in extra projects along the way. Would definitely hire them again!"

"I hired Castlewood Construction LLC to perform repairs and renovations to a property for resale in Gordonsville, VA. The estimate Chris Gilley (owner) gave me was fair and detailed, and while he wasn't the lowest quote, he was the most knowledgeable and I felt comfortable enough to really get all my questions and concerns covered. He even pointed out some potential problems we could run into, which we handled, whereas the other contractors I spoke with never mentioned them. 

And while it wasn't on my list, Chris repaired the door to a playhouse in the backyard. Chris was always present and happy to answer any of my questions. His crew was polite and professional, and kept their work areas safe and clean.

The work was finished on time and on budget.  Overall it was quite a pleasant experience, and I intend on hiring Castlewood again for future projects. I would highly recommend Castlewood Construction LLC for any building project, they do high-quality work at a reasonable price. I was very satisfied with the process and the final product."

"They are a nice provider. I talked to them on the phone for about 30 minutes and they sent some samples. We were able to get a discount on designer purchases but not useful on designing the space. Once we told them what we wanted, they were able to help purchase from the warehouse and save about $1,500. I think they became too busy with this big deal. You buy a ticket per room and we still actually have a couple left with this provider. After redesigning one room, we kind of ran out of steam and have not designed the other rooms. Overall this is a good service and it's a good concept. Whomever I spoke with, she was really nice. I would recommend this provider. This kind of service seems to be for people with time and knows exactly what they want. They are super helpful with the designer discount from the warehouse. They don't actual design your room which is slight flaw."

"Jake and his team were great. They installed as agreed and did so in a professional manner. The project took a couple of days but they held to their word and did everything well. Very customer focused and will work until you are happy. Highly recommend."

"After a ridiculous estimate from a prior contractor, whom I fired, I called G&G and another local company.  Both came out for estimates as scheduled.  G&Gs estimate was a hair higher, but I felt more comfortable with them than the other company.
Amanda was easily reachable and everything was easily scheduled around my personal schedule.
The crew arrived early the day of the job and promptly began to work.  They didn't mind at all that I watched, as I wanted to see the damaged plywood they'd be removing.  The main roof was completed in a day.  The sunroof roof and gutters were completed the next day.  Due to weather, the shutters were installed on the third day.  A few bits and pieces of the sunroof work were left behind, but nothing to complain about.
Although the other estimate for the main roof was a tad higher than the other company, the sunroom roof and gutter prices easily made up for it.  They also sent out a guy to pressure wash the house after the work was complete....fabulous!!!
I look forward to working with them again on further projects...and highly recommend them to other Angie's List members.

"We didn't have a huge budget to remodel our whole bathroom, but Tom was able to make it happen.  The tiling job he did looks great.  Some of the time, he was not at the job site and had his workers paint and do other jobs. I was not as satisfied with some of the work they did, such as painting, but Tom came back and corrected most of it.   I would use Tom again and just ask that he be present at the job site the whole time.
