"I hired Castlewood Construction LLC to perform repairs and renovations to a property for resale in Gordonsville, VA. The estimate Chris Gilley (owner) gave me was fair and detailed, and while he wasn't the lowest quote, he was the most knowledgeable and I felt comfortable enough to really get all my questions and concerns covered. He even pointed out some potential problems we could run into, which we handled, whereas the other contractors I spoke with never mentioned them. 

And while it wasn't on my list, Chris repaired the door to a playhouse in the backyard. Chris was always present and happy to answer any of my questions. His crew was polite and professional, and kept their work areas safe and clean.

The work was finished on time and on budget.  Overall it was quite a pleasant experience, and I intend on hiring Castlewood again for future projects. "The crew that was sent out to replace roof was good.  However, very disappointed in the professionism of the owner.  I know there were some personal issues going on at the time but the way "we" the clients were handle was not professional.  I can't recommend this company. A project that should have take only a couple of days was draw out into months.  Work was only completed and not really to my liking after lots of emails and voice mails."

"We didn't have a huge budget to remodel our whole bathroom, but Tom was able to make it happen.  The tiling job he did looks great.  Some of the time, he was not at the job site and had his workers paint and do other jobs. I was not as satisfied with some of the work they did, such as painting, but Tom came back and corrected most of it.   I would use Tom again and just ask that he be present at the job site the whole time.
