Everything regarding the countertop remodeling project went smooth as glass.  Wes (the owner) was very helpful and informative assisting us in explaining and choosing materials, installation process, costs, etc.  Ausa (office manager) was terrific in keeping us informed and scheduling the project.  As our construction date neared, Ausra emailed us photos of a new slab of granite matching our previous selected choice of color / type for approval.  Corbin and Brian (installers) arrived punctually on install day, They worked well together, answered questions we had about the install, offered suggestions how we might improve supporting the "overhang" on the breakfast bar and were done before midday.  Both cleaned up the job site and left no mess AT ALL!
I cannot say enough good things about our experience, AND we love the way the new granite countertop looks in our kitchen.

Very impressed with their service; will go back again.

I had been steered to another granite provider by my remodeler but was not happy with the and quot;vibeand quot; there, so decided to check out other options. I went to Albemarle Countertops, and was immediately impressed with the professionalism and service provided. The display area is wonderful, showing all the different kinds of granite available and their grades. Ausra was extremely professional (if busy!) taking the time to show me what was available and what sorts of choices I had. I made my choice then not 100% sure but she assured me she would hold it, which they did, even though my bath took FOREVER to start and even longer to complete, but that is another story.
When I went back to show them where off the slab I wanted my counter cut, I was temporarily tempted by another slab that was bright and shiny, but then went back to my original choice. Ausra was extremely patient and helped me thru the process with great vision even though she was very busy.
When they came out, they did a terrific job installing it and they look great!
I also like the fact that this is a locally owned company.

The installers were excellent and good communicators. The store assistant was fabulous in educating us about stone, designs, and pricing. The owner had communication issues and a faulty laser measuring device. This resulted in mis-cut pieces which the installers had to accommodate at the site. The degree to which they did this was very professional, but this should not have been an issue. The installers took back a large piece that was wrongly sized, and the owner re-cut the piece to fit, but only by modifying the design. The countertops look great, but we would be hesitant to go with them again.

Our natural granite was multi colored and they did a great job matching the pieces. The seams were excellent. Cleaned up the work site thoroughly. We subsequently suffered a little movement in a seam following the 2011 earthquake. They responded immediately and made a repair - no charge.

The job is not fully completed but so far we are very pleased with the quality and timeliness of the work.
