We hired Raines & Sons to remodel our bathroom. Jamie gave us a very reasonable quote and was upfront about what to expect. Everything went well. Took a little longer than expected, but that was because he wanted to do it right rather than finish the gig and move on. The people on Jamie's crew were friendly, professional, and made sure to clean up before leaving each day. Jamie is a man of his word and always let me know what to expect each step of the way. One of the things I respect the most is that when something came up that he wasn't prepared for (it did, twice), he wasn't afraid to call in a subcontractor who could do the task better and faster. That is the mark of a true professional. He didn't try to do everything himself so he could max his profit. He brought in the people who were good at each job. Solid painting crew, too, by the way. We couldn't be happier with the results. Not only do I recommend this company, I've already hired them for another job -- rebuilding my sidewalk and front porch.

Jamie was very friendly at the beginning. I felt his estimate was high but there was a shortage of contractors available at that time (summer of 2021) and in that area, so I went with him. Although he did some of the work himself, his health was not great, so he had a 30+ yr old guy he got from a rehab program to do most of the work, other than the tile and a custom shelf. The tile work was done by a stone mason. His sons and some of their friends, who are minors, did the custom shelf and general labor (carrying supplies and clean-up). The rehab guy ended up quitting before the projects were done. I originally hired Jamie to do the main bath in a condo and added another bath when the main was about half done. The work quality was not bad initially, but it became apparent in the details. Apparently he does a lot of bathrooms, but he does not know what I high-end bathroom looks like. There were a lot of issues I brought to his attention and some of them I had to fix myself. Jamie thought I was nit-picking. I paid him $12,000+ to refinish a bathroom, so I felt that I had the right to expect higher quality than what he provided. He had started the second bathroom before the main was finished, so I let him continue until I got tired of the sloppy workmanship and asked him not to come back. He can do a fairly good basic job if your expectations are not high.

Raines and Sons Construction just completed an urgent and complicated bathroom renovation for my parents (seniors) to address needed accessibility after my dad experienced a very serious health issue. Jamie and family have been amazing to deal with. They quickly assessed and understood the complex needs, have suggested additional ideas to help address important issues that could have easily been overlooked (like adding an ADA-height toilet, avoiding complications later), and added aesthetic and functional improvements at every step - all while actively controlling costs to meet their extremely reasonable cost estimate. Their company has managed the work to the highest professional standards. Jamie has addressed all of our inquiries, the team has been communicative about timelines and then met or beat them, and everyone involved has consistently been punctual, courteous, and responsive. We look forward to working with Raines and Sons for future jobs - and I recommend that anyone looking for a contractor should reach out to them for an estimate. They do absolutely top notch work and treat their clients like gold.

Jamie Raines was extremely accommodating and eager to make us happy. He kept in touch throughout the project even though he couldn t be here everyday because he had the corona virus! I will use this company again.

I went through home advisor looking for someone to replace our front porch deck, Jamie was responded to my request within an hour and was at our house by early afternoon to review our options. Jamie gave us a few options and we came up with what we d like, Jamie ordered the material and once everything came end Jamie and his crew did a excellent job on replacing our porch. Jamie was super nice, very easy to work with from day 1, he kept me updated on progress of material coming in at Lowe s and once material arrived Jamie set up time to Do our job. Jamie and in his crew were very professional, they did a great job replacing our porch and it looks amazing. We ve had neighbors who were walking by our house, stop to tell us how nice our new porch looked and asked who Did the work. Jamie gave a good price on the job, finished quickly and we are very satisfied. Our next door neighbors liked the porch so much they had Jamie come over and give a quote to replace their back deck. We also Plan on having Jamie replace our back deck Very soon.

I got a very good price for the new roof...Jamie would always respond to our texts and came out a few times before the work started to answer our questions....work began on a Tuesday morning and the crew was done late Wednesday....cleanup was very thorough and am so pleased with how my new roof looks....my house now pops with curb appeal....I am so pleased with Jamie's crew that I am having them put new gutters on my house soon....Thanks Jamie and crew...Gregg and Cindy Buker

Jamie was very professional in performing structural repairs/improvements to an existing deck. The existing deck had major structural flaws and with two visits, Jamie was able to provide a very reasonable price. Job some completed successfully and beyond expectation. Would highly recommend. Already contacted for additional projects.

Jamie and his crew were very hard working, always here early even when I had to leave for work and communicated so I got just what I wanted. They pointed out areas that would cause problems and told me even what parts of their own work they would have wanted done better by a subcontractor before fixing it themselves. They did almost everything but knew when to bring in experts. Their electrician was very skilled and clearly loves his work. They were on time with the project dates and didn't disrupt our home. I recommend them highly.
