"Skylar came to our home to clean the vents but our air conditioner had just stopped working that very morning. He took the time to check it, located the problem (a fuse), and ran to Hm Depot to get a fuse. He was so helpful and kind. Good people!"

"Falcon renovation guided us through every step of the process; discussing the different qualities of the materials, ease and durability, ideal size choices, color coordination etc… All the material arrived in a timely manner and the finished product looks amazing. We receive compliments every time someone walks into our basement. We couldn’t believe how very easy their team made the entire process and we couldn’t be happier with the end result!"

"I was impressed with Sione and his crew. They were replacing a driveway across the street so I had them give me a bid to replace mine. The pricing was great and they could get started right away. Sione and his guys made sure that everything was installed properly including a drainage system and window-well. I am still waiting for a few minor touch up things to be completed but I am sure that they will be soon. I have referred them to a handful of people already and will be using them again to pour a small sideyard/rv pad."

Nest Installation questions, answered by experts

If the snakes in your yard are non-venomous species (like common Rat or Garter snakes), why not consider the live-and-let-live approach? Some benefits of not getting rid of snakes include:

  • They’re great at controlling disease-spreading rodent populations, including rats, mice, voles, and moles.

  • Some non-venomous species (like the common kingsnake) eat venomous species like rattlesnakes and copperheads.

  • Species like the garter snake keep down populations of garden pests like slugs and grasshoppers.

Squirrels hate not having access to secure shelter or food sources. Your best line of defense is to make your property less attractive by removing access to these things. There are chemical squirrel repellents, but these have mixed success. According to Pennsylvania State University, you can apply products containing the bittering agent denatonium saccharide to a squirrel's favorite fence, tree, or roof spots. However, you need to reapply repellents regularly, which aren’t scientifically proven effective.

Mosquito fogging should be done every two days during the first week of treatment. This level of frequency helps to interrupt the mosquito breeding cycle and prevent them from laying eggs in your yard. After the first week, mosquito fogging can be reduced to a schedule of once a week.

Wasps don’t sleep in, but they are relatively inactive at night, sticking to the confines of the nest, in what’s known as a dormant state. Additionally, female wasps hibernate throughout the winter. That’s why evenings are the best time of the day to attack wasp nests.

Boric acid is among the harsher chemicals you can use in your home, and it poses risks whether ingested, inhaled, or touched. Kids and pets alike tend to put their hands and mouths on anything within reach, so it’s always a good idea to store boric acid in a spot they can’t get to and use it only when they’re not around for an extended period. When you use it, ensure they’re out of the house and fully clean up any trace of boric acid when you’re done because even a small amount can cause problems.
