"I wanted to change out my 20+ old HVAC system before winter and knew what I wanted as far as equipment. I had several companies bid on the project and ended up using Brozwood. Randy came to my house to confirm what he and I had spoken about on the phone about and the price of the work. On the install day, Braden and Nate were the technicians assigned to do the job. They arrived and quickly went over with me what they were going to do and got to work. They had the install completed by the time that said they would and cleaned up after themselves. Their work was perfect and exactly what they said they would do and what I wanted. This company may not spend the big money on advertising as I found them by accident, but I would never use anyone else for HVAC now that I know about Brozwood. They were reasonably priced and their work is superior.Â"

"Great overall experience. Kyle installed an additional HVAC duct in a basement room for me. He had to route it around an existing duct. The install turned out very well. I would highly recommend Aireo for HVAC or plumbing service."

"My dryer vent was blocked. The tech did remove lint at the point where the dryer hose connects to the vent. He said it was all clear all the way up. The problem with my dryer not working has persisted. Upon further check where the vent goes to the roof had been blocked by a shingle when the roof was recently replaced. So with that blockage the tech did not blow out the vent properly. It is not his fault a roofer blocked the vent but if he had blown out the vent all the way up he would know the lint was not going out but fell back down to where the hose connects. Not a properly done clean out of my vent."

Nest Installation questions, answered by experts

Strong scents like peppermint, rosemary, lavender, citronella, and others can repel woodpeckers—as pungent smells can overpower their senses. For that reason, you might consider making a homemade spray with one or a combination of these scents to spritz around areas of your home where woodpeckers frequent.

The most common wasps are hornets, yellowjackets, and paper wasps. Both hornets and yellowjackets are black and yellow, and hornets are known to be more aggressive if their nests are disturbed. Paper wasps are black or reddish-brown with yellow markings and often build nests on eaves or branches. Of the more than 300,000 species of wasps, these are the most often encountered by pest control professionals.

Termites, carpenter ants, and wood-boring beetles can move from wood furniture to other areas of your home. If you notice signs of bugs in wood furniture, it's best to remove and isolate it for treatment. Remember that it can be difficult to identify which type of pest you are dealing with, and they can already be in areas of your home.

If DIY methods don’t work or you don’t know which pest it is you should contact an exterminator if you are showing signs of wood-eating pests to prevent further damage.

Some people find that treating their yards with natural substances can help to repel ticks. In fact, pest extermination companies often offer all-natural lawn treatments to repel ticks. Household ingredients like oregano oil, clove oil, thyme, and citronella ward off ticks and are natural ways to get rid of fleas.

Gophers are ubiquitous in certain areas, and the only way to completely get rid of them is to put down gopher wire two feet below the surface of your soil and vertically along the edges of your yard. Unfortunately, this may not be a practical solution unless you’re completely redoing your yard or installing an aboveground garden. Alternatively, you may consider putting underground rock barriers around the edge of your yard to discourage gopher visits. However, you’ll still likely get some pests because they can dig as deep as 6 feet below the surface.
